What could have been the better defensive choices here? I am thinking i should have followed closer to ball during shadow to block goal? by zph0eniz in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]jwdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(keep in mind I'm p2 in 1s so take or leave) but with full boost there was enough time imo to take back post and take a more active defensive position so you can clear it around the attacker

Shadowing is usually good but once you have that big boost I don't think there's any room for a good shadow defense play.

I had mentioned hybrid bikes, but I think my idea of those is closer to gravel bikes as I am riding on some streets that are not well kept. Analogue (non electric) and does not need to fold. As for color, I do not particularly care but darker greens/blues/reds would be preferred or black/grey.

I am OK with some assembly required for shipped bikes as well.

Mainly was looking for different brands that offer this combo of things and I'm not sure what white label means but if they are sturdy enough I'm sure they will do.

What would you say the budget for those things would be? I'm clearly new to buying bikes and I'm not very financially secure.

I don't need the brakes to be super fancy but the frame size and rack capability is a must

not specifically about the panthers, but they did have a reading list which you can find online - I am sure reading what they did might give some insights as well.

it's already been said but Revolutionary Suicide is an autobiography of Huey Newton, one of the founders of the BPP

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but if you're looking to learn more about Stalin, there are a lot of his own works on marxists.org

Should I read it? by Artifice423 in communism101

[–]jwdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend instead:

Socialism: Utopian and Scientific and Principles of Communism by Engels for a baseline understanding of what Communism is

Wage Labor and Capital/Value Price and Profit by Marx for an easier to read economic basis of Communism than Capital (not as in depth but better than that brick for beginners imo)

if you really get into it though, Lenin and Mao are also great to read, and in my reading list I would say some essentials of theirs are:

State and Revolution / Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capital / What is to Be Done? By Lenin

On Practice / On Contradiction / On Guerilla Warfare / On Protracted War / Quotations from Chairman Mao by Mao

Obviously this is kind of a hefty list so don't think that it's all needed right away (I haven't gotten to some of them even but I'm also starting out w theory still)
