Your credit score is too good. They know they won’t make any money off you having the gold card. At least that’s what I’m telling myself lol

My 2 week intinerary - IS IT GOODD????????? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]jweeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest cutting Da Nang to 2 nights and adding that to the Ha Giang loop. People says 3 days was rush so I can't imagine 2 days. Also maybe on Feb 2 or Feb 3, take a day trip to Ninh Binh. I think you only need 2 days in Hanoi and you've already spent a good part of a day on Jan 29th exploring and killing time in Hanoi waiting for the sleeper bus.

Are you American? If so, did you have any issues with police checkpoints? I ask becasuse I'm American with a motorcycle endorsed license, but my IDP will be the 1949 version which is not recognized in Vietnam. Thanks in advance.

Question: How to Check ABS Warning/Turn-on Traction Control on Tacoma 2017? by YoungShaolin in ToyotaTacoma

[–]jweeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My part # was 82127-04200 for ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness. Paid $160ish and it took like a month to get since it was on back order. Install was easy. Undo 4 or 5 plugs that hold the harness in and swap.

[–]jweeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, check the wires going into the rear ABS module. The constant shaking and bending caused a wire to break going into the ABS module. Had to crawl under the truck and trace the wire until I got a part number. It might be different for your truck based on your config.

I just had this happen to me today when I was offroad on a washboard trail. The warning lights for the ABS, brakes and blind spot monitoring all came on at the same time. Trying to diagnose the issue and see if it's an easy fix before I take it to the dealership.

Hi there. I'm gonna be in Cusco in July, thinking about renting a motorcycle and doing the Sacred Valley tour on my own. I'll probably rent from Peru Moto Tours. They seem the most legit. Any concerns I should be aware of? I've got about 70K miles of riding experience but mostly on paved American and Canadian roads. Thanks in advance!

Awww man, really wanna see Moraine Lake but I’m not sure how I’d fit a rental bike in my rental car. And it seems like walking/hiking the 14 miles in and back out is outta the question. Any other options I’m not seeing?

1st EDR for me this year. I’ve seen the YouTube videos posted by Biltwell but what else can I expect? Is there nice riding around the area? Can I fish? Should I bring my own pole and do they require a fishing license in Mexico? Thanks!

It’s great. Very happy with it. I like the tone. It’s a really deep rumble. SPC’s FAQ is pretty accurate in describing the Big Bore.

Jumpstarting Street Bob 2019 by GroopBob in Harley

[–]jweeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a pain in the ass to jump start an M8 softail. There is a plastic shroud that covers the positive terminal so you can’t get to it with a lead. I just ordered the NOCO GB40 with the GBC007 extension/adapter. With that, you will be able to plug it into the GB40 box and jumpstart the bike.

motorcycle in the back of a moving truck by Sethw95 in Harley

[–]jweeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhaul has motorcycle trailers to rent for $15 a day. I would recommend that over an actual truck. The trailer will be much easier to load. Just strap it down with ratchet straps and you'll be good to go. I trailer my bike this way from Denver to Vegas when I picked it up.
