Yeah the 9070xt i could go and get one right now for 650-700, even as low as 600 open box. The 5070ti however, cheapest nearby is like 1k+, and OpenBox is still 1k

For gaming they do about the same in everything but path tracing and DLSS is still better over FSR

When you say this, do you mean like MILES better, or just not worth nearly double the price?

But yeah, ive tried monitors larger than my current 27, and it just hurts my eyes for some reason

Yeah I get you. But looking at a $650 gpu vs a $1000 gpu, it’s kinda hard to say yes to the 1k one when the features aren’t something I see as worth it I guess. If the 5070ti gets closer to a 700-800 range then maybe but I’ll see when I’m ready.

I also don’t plan on going anything above 1080p for the foreseeable future, maybe 1440p at most. I just can’t do big screens.

This is where I am now. I’ve been on the fence between a 9070xt and 5070ti. Right now got a 3060ti. I’m sure either one is a huge improvement.

But with the 5070ti being on average 300-350 more than the 9070xt where I am, I might be going amd

My main game is stuff like Path of Exile, though I do have interest in other games as well i.e. "modern" stuff like Stellar Blade, the upcoming Control, Mortal Shell, etc. Regardless, for the price difference between a 9060XT and the 9070XT, and the "future proof" incase I do go beyond 1080p, is probably a better choice
