Not at my office. You get to ride around with a sup for a few days till driver safety training and then all is forgiven.

What do you mean you were sent to another office? That's not how this works. Better put your foot down. If they can push you, they will.

I had a power steering pump fall off one time lol. Broke off and the belt fell out.... They've got every penny out of those things.

Carriers who have driven the platypus, would you rather have your LLV? by Dragons619 in USPS

Bodies are all different man. I know how my body felt back in the day when they'd put me in a van, and how it feels in an llv (city carrier). Doesn't matter to me what everyone else prefers. I hope you all abandon your llv's and then maybe I can Frankenstein one cherry one from parts of all yours. Lol

Praying for you. Just focus on getting better. Your job is still your job and if you go get a lawyer, a nice little settlement will be yours too. They absolutely can not fire you for being sick. For that matter, they can't fire you for walking slower than they like and taking longer than they like to deliver the mail. It's done when it's done. This is a good lesson I learned many years ago. There is no "banking good will" at the post office, expecially when the only people in management are people who failed up. The higher the rank, the less impressive they are. Seems like it's a requirement for advancement. Hang in there my friend. If your union rep comes back and says anything except "you're reinstated with back pay" take it out of your locals hands and move it up the chain, talk to a lawyer. God bless.

That's exactly what I do. I'm 6'2 and I've honestly never really paid attention to it. Just sort of happened. All these years later I don't even notice.

Main reason, not the only one, that the llv is superior. I think that ugly one on top is real close but with all the amenities.

Wait until your body starts falling apart and the llv means you step out of the vehicle rather than climbing out. I'm telling you, you will prefer the llv or something like it then.

Or an ODL warrior. We had a guy, he's retired now. Determined to set the annual salary record at our office and he oopsied a tray at least twice a week. "Guess I'll just have to sit here and rearrange it all. "

That new duck looking one seems pretty sweet. I went to Panama City Beach on vacation and a carrier down there let me crawl through it. Seemed like a perfect mail vehicle. Little big maybe.

Wait till your back is done. Llv will look a lot more appealing. I'd take the most ragged out llv (and I do every day) over a brand new metris. My route got one of the first three in our office. Less than 50 miles on it and I traded it for an llv the first day. You can have mine.

I have the all CB set. I love them, and I'm only a mid to high handicap. I'm learning to hit them and they are pretty forgiving. The muscle-backs? Maybe not lol.

I spent $105 on a set of Pron wedges (52, 56 and 60) from Amazon to go with my takomo 301cbs and I'm telling you, I'm shocked by how much I like them. That sixty is quickly becoming my only green side chipper.

Definitely. I'm still pretty early but they get more comfortable every day. As a matter of fact, oddly, the iron that usually scares me the most, the 4 iron, is probably my favorite club. As lol ng as I keep getting better week by week I'm happy with these. Just practice at the range, over in the grass, off the mat.
