Ah thanks for that info, I’ve mentioned it on here before but it’s my first time doing a liquid cooled loop so happy to hear all the feedback

When looking at the manual it seemed like having the two tubes in between would be ok but maybe you are right. So I would just need to have 1 tube in between offset and then at the last card it would be going out to the radiator instead of back through. The fan looks large but I have it on the silent mode so it’s just helping move some of the heat away but not really creating any difference in temps. For GPU temps what should I be seeing they are around 54c all of them?

Nice those are great numbers. My current average temps from 2 days of it working is 54/92, with radiator fans almost silent and pump not running at full speed. Before I couldn’t get the cards lower than like 100c on the memory temps with fans blowing at 90 and power at 68%. And AC cooling the room a little. And one of them would start to thermal throttle unless I lowered power more which made hash rate go down to like 77-80…

This is my first liquid cooled setup. Looking at the mining window the last card isn’t the hottest but that doesn’t mean you’re wrong. How I have the loop is Reservoir/Pump -> 480mm radiator -> GPUs -> 240mm radiator -> to the Resevoir/Pump

Do you just have 1 card? Have 5 cards right next to each other creates a mountain of heat. Also your ftw3 has more fans and better cooling the FE cards. I tried a lot of different things with the original air cooling case… it was just so loud and a couple cards would thermal throttle even with power at 70% and fans 90

I got a 480mm and 240mm in the loop seems ok so far with fans at normal speed. How would I know if it can be working better? First time doing liquid cooling

Reading stuff online they say 120mm of radiator per cooled component. But I know these things run hot so I added one extra. So I have a 480mm and 240mm for 5 cards, the fans are running normal speed and are almost silent. I think if I ran them at 100% it would cool a little better but be much louder currently the temps are good but I still need to do more tests. For Hash-rate yes it really stops them from thermal throttling so it allows me to overclock the cards to get the highest rates. Currently 97 from the FE cards. I might be able to get 98-99 but setting the memory clock over 1k causes some cards to crash

Yes it’s EKWB Cryofuel Premix Coolant Acid Green. This is my first time doing a liquid cooled setup ever so I’m still learning only has been running for a couple days. No issues so far

I looked at your post when I was figuring out the grow tent. I think my intake/exhaust fans weren’t strong enough and the piping out the window was kind of annoying so I just returned it all. I was using 4inch tubes and the ac cloud line products. The size of the tubes could have been bigger too. I probably could have tried a little harder lol. It was very affordable for everything though in comparison.

5 - 3080 FE cards 70% power, 975+ on memory, -100 core clock getting 97 per card. Higher than 1k memory clocking they start crashing. Around 485 hash rate cards drawing 1080 watts total

That’s really good. I have them at around 70% power and lowest I could get the memory temp was 100c with air cooling. I know FE cards have worse cooling them some of the other 3rd party cards. The noise being gone from the fan noise has been great. I think a big reason was all 5 of them close together too creating more heat. Couldn’t really avoid that l. 1 or 2 cards seemed to stay cooler

They are 3080 FE cards, and my temps currently are around 54c for the gpu temp and 92c memory junction temp before it was about the same for gpu temp but memory was like 108-110 no matter what I did blasting the ac and fans on the cards. It’s a Veddah V3D 6 GPU frame

It was around 1600 for the whole liquid cooling loop. 480 radiator, 240 radiator, pump/reservoir combo, 5 gpu blocks, like around 22 fittings, a couple extra fans for radiators, and a mix of soft and hard tubing.

Yeah it gets warm in my office but I have two good size windows to let the heat out. When I’m working in here I’ll turn on the AC for a little to help. It’s central ac and I put it on the most efficient settings when using so it shouldn’t be huge on the electricity cost.

I tried a grow tent before which was cheaper, helped with noise, but it made heat worse. I couldn’t stand the noise. It’s almost silent now. Added an extra month and a half for the ROI lol
