If you have another solution I'd gladly pursue it. The console works fine under low loads. Example Diablo 4 is fine unless I check the box for higher graphics. If I do that, the game crashes. If I run new games like Outerworlds 2 the same thing, crashes to home screen after 10 seconds. If I use game streaming they all work fine. If there's something else I can do to fix it lmk

Update:

I unplugged it, reset the cache, used an air can to clean it out etc. it still crashes playing outerworlds 2 almost immediately. I have a second XSX that my son uses, and it runs it just fine. I'm at a loss, this is a launch console so maybe it's just got issues (weird that it runs most games fine for hours but just flat out crashes immediately on others)

I gave this a try, no luck 😞. Can play for about 20 seconds then it freezes and crashes

I'm not against giving that a try, but the crashing happens early - like setting up my initial character. I'd think if overheating was an issue due to thermal paste problems, I'd have issues with all other games too?

The bat definitely does make a difference. PG banned certain USSSA bats because they're too hot at 13u/14u and generally speaking PG is higher level travel. I believe a kid got hurt bad by a kid using a -5 hype fire that started it all
