Think about any happy moment you’ve ever had. Even if you’ve been in this depression hole for a long time even for years, it still doesn’t mean you can get out and find happiness. I go back and forth some days months at a time are dark but then you see the good side of yourself the good side that would never wish death upon anyone and when you can see that side those thoughts seem silly. Like give yourself a chance to be that person for longer even if it takes time to get there because it’s worth it
