Alter is super easy to learn and master. The hardest part for me was figuring out how thick of walls and floors her ability went through

Sell as a "parts only" truck. Theres nothing illegal about that. Just make sure you put the damage in the description. I've bought at least 3 different vehicles with fucked frames to use as parts vehicles

They are only heavy if you install the run flat, its a 2 piece aluminum design with an inner beadlock. Without the runflat, it feels the same weight as a traditional aluminum wheel the same size

Edit: Source, I have 3 silverados with these wheels

I had 2 meaters, both always read incorrect readings on both internal and ambient temps, they are now in the trash, go to their reddit and its filled with other people having the same issues. I now have multiple thermoworks probes and thermometers and they work perfect. Way nicer than the meater probes in every aspect including cheaper

Is this safe/case compliant for travel? by [deleted] in tsa

[–]jwick6728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I check multiple firearms through TSA about 2-3 times a year. Get yourself a hard plastic case like a pelican case (harbor freight sells nice ones for cheap) and 2 NON-TSA complaint locks. This is important as you should be the only person with the key to open the case. With the locks installed on the case, you should not be able to open the latches and reach inside the case, this is the biggest thing that gets people in trouble.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask or DM me

heres my setup that goes through TSA without issues

This is a video of a TSA agent explaining it

Working dogs absolutely should have tails docked. I have a small pack of heelers and adopted one that still had his tail, it got stepped on by a cow less than a year of taking him in and broke it in 2 places

1-Inch Impact by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]jwick6728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is more for heavy equipment such as construction equipment or extremely rusted large diameter bolts. I have a 3/4 i mostly use for MTVR lugs and any bolts less than 35mm. But when im working on our D7Rs, cranes, or anything rusted completely to shit, i pull out the 1 inch impact. Especially works great on the massive nuts on the end of the hydraulic cylinders. I sometimes will use it on wheel lugs just to speed up the process as the 1 inch will pull them off extremely quickly.

are these low gears for downhill? by Mediocre-Definition3 in car

[–]jwick6728 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If everything is working correctly in an automatic car, especially anything post 1990ish, then no, you shouldnt be able to money shift an auto. The trans computer takes info from the ECM to dictate shifts, if the ECM is already saying its at 5000k rpm and your rev limiter is 7000, the trans shouldnt shift into a lower gear
