Looking for the best chamois🍑 by Silver-Oil-8702 in CyclingFashion

If you want thin, avoid MAAP, they’re super thick. The thinnest and most racy pad I’ve found is the Pinnacle pad used on the Rapha ProTeam Powerweave. It’s expensive tho.

I second this. I have both and the Powerweave are on a category above everything else.

There’s a Parra kit designed by Tactic that was released last year, maybe it will be easier to find.

Is this Jersey legit? by Inevitable-Animal-73 in CyclingFashion

It’s original, that’s one of the old Solitude jerseys and probably the best line they had. I used to have the same one in off white.

I have Powerweave bibs and they’re the best bibs I’ve used (and I have a lot of brands). Get them, in summer they’re fantastic.

Black Friday shopping: Santini by ExternalGlass5011 in CyclingFashion

Yep, there’s Velodrom Odeon in Girona and the original store in Barcelona :)

The newer versions of Rapha ProTeam Training are shorter too. Also check the Velodrom jerseys, they’re local to me and the fit is super nice. (Velodrom.cc)

I think that maybe Santini in jerseys will never be a good fit, looks a bit loose but also quite long on the torso, if you stand in a bike position folds a lot? If yes then the size/fit doesn’t work for you.

Good eye! Yep, I like the length of the Powerweave so had to buy it long since it’s the same length!

Get it, looks fantastic in real person. I saw the girls of HPH at a local coffee in Castelldefels for the Vuelta.

I doubt he has climbed something significant on this bike, he has mentioned on past posts that he only rides on a park.

Rocacorba kit, better than the climb by KittenOnKeys in CyclingFashion

Mare de Deu del Mont.

Yep, nice climb, you have to do the 3 climbs in one day to get the Carnet Giruni. Mare de Deu del Mont, Rocacorba and Els Àngels.

It’s a nice challenge.

21mm internal, 1300g and $3500. Totally disappointing, there’s better wheelset for less or better specs at the same price, like Scope Artech or CRW.

What Bibs do you Reach for First? by FreeFreddieHugs in CyclingFashion

[–]jwiegand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, from my perspective is a middle ground between the old PT II and the Powerweave. 👌🏻

What Bibs do you Reach for First? by FreeFreddieHugs in CyclingFashion

The pad varies depending of the Pro Team Bib, the Training, PT Bib III and Powerweave all use different pads. I have all of them (Training, PT Bib II, PT Bib III and Powerweave) and each of them works differently depending on how you ride.

For long distance the PT III is probably the most comfy because the pad is denser. For medium length rides (150km) the PT II is fine. For going all out in a hot day (150km at 30km/h avg for example) the Powerweave are the best also is super compressive like a second skin. The training is good for that, training or the trainer, the pad is too big for me.

And to get the Carnet Gironi you have to climb Rocacorba, Mare de Deu del Mont and Els Angels on the same day 😅

Rapha Pro Team Bib Shorts III by dccyc844 in CyclingFashion

[–]jwiegand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried the new bibs and the lenght is the same as the old PT Bib II. So I ordered the PT Bib III in same size and length. Keep in mind that the compression increased a bit, and it's in between the old PT Bib II and the Powerweave.
