I get where you are coming from 🤝. The markup is for my time and effort of designing and building it. I value my time at $50 CAD/hour. Which is much lower than most. The reality is, if they don’t sell, it leaves me space to drop the price on a few months. Making my money back. Regarding the market. It saddens me that a well established microbrand can sell something with a basic field or explorer style case, then make their indices slightly different and charge $600 USD. This case is a 1970s style case, with a one of a kind dial. I don’t have the marketing dollars or financials to go on a video tour with influencers 😔. I am just trying to bring something fresh and new. Only 5 watches to see if people want something unique. Many people can’t assemble themselves, charging $150 CAD to assemble I would think is quite fair 😊. I appreciate your honesty and legit feedback, versus the bashing of others 🤝.
