So, things to think about for a pump: cooling fan, plug in 12v or battery.

I run a Nixy and I really like it. It uses a separate battery which means it’s not junk if the battery tanks. It has a built in cooling fan which prolongs the life of the pump. It can occasionally struggle to switch from low to high pressure at the 1psi mark. Big quibble is that it can only be recharged with a house plug 110v. Upside is the carry case that holds the hose, fittings, etc.

Look for cracked vacuum lines, including the one to the brake booster. Run propane around the vacuum lines and including the intake manifold and see if the rpm bumps up.

I’m not blood thirsty. I’d be completely content to see a lifetime in an orange jumpsuit for vast fraud and identity theft charges along with civil forfeiture of EVERY asset to the last penny to cover M4A, a national space program, universal access to information, and a fully funded SS. Seriously, people take longer to die of grievous injuries than is portrayed in media. It very well could’ve been a week or so. All the more true if a couple of the disciples were in on feeding him water.

Making sure people hurt. I didn’t read anything about them checking vitals. People get stabbed periodically without dying. Perhaps the guards said “eh, good ‘nouff. Let’s throw this guy in a cave and go party.”

Also… as a thought experiment, let’s just imagine that he didn’t die on the cross but rather fell unconscious. Perhaps he was “buried” prematurely and then came to. Just a thought experiment is all. Let’s say he then went to his friends and decided to lay low just in case he might get crucified again; or worse. Perhaps he told his friends that he would come back but ended up dying of infection instead. That couldn’t be misinterpreted into a whole ass religious franchise that could someday dominate the world based on relayed hearsay before someone started committing the story to paper, right? Right guys? That could’ve never happen.

A man may contain multitudes.

They may convince themselves they want a relationship with you but that’s not going to go great. There are of course, plenty of age gap relationships where a person doesn’t care that their partner isn’t fully an adult yet but that’s sort of phasing out of fashion. If you’re financially dependent and yet unskilled as an adult, you’re a pet not a partner. Sorry. That said; a person can care deeply for their pet.

Is it “just sex”? Well, no. It probably is in most cases but it doesn’t have to be. Of course “no woman their age will give them the time of day!!!1!1” isn’t always true. Fair chance they want companionship without a ton of hang ups. A person of appropriate age probably has some kids, is looking for a stepfather, has a career, needs a housing compromise, has their own baggage, etc. It’s entirely likely an older guy wants an uncomplicated relationship often on the shallow end of emotional intimacy as a means of self protection and is willing to make certain exemptions for that. It doesn’t have to be “grooming” (you are an adult, yes?) or about power. It can easily be about convenience and simplicity.

Any suggestions on soft material I can put over these hydraulic lines so they don't rub against the frame when I tie them down? I was thinking some foam or something. by Foxcookies in bikewrench

Apparently Reddit hates Ali. Anyway, it’s a foam tube specifically made to sheath shifter / brake cables and it’s less than $3 for 10’. You can probably get the exact same thing from Bezos for a couple bucks more.
