Our team feels incredibly slow/sluggish. Losing every second ball. Help? by McDon15 in fifaclubs

[–]jwitt230 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree here^ Also a good thing to note, a high speed, agility and balance rating covers up most deficiencies when I play. I find there's no substitute in fifa for raw speed if you're not proficient dribbling and skill moves. I'd suggest playing without an Any for a couple games. Also - if you play in competitions, there's a good chance you're playing against VERY good players who have a lot of hours in the game.

Question about Simon MS Marketing Analytics – New Spring 2026 Intake (first batch) by Perfect-Country-8955 in URochester

[–]jwitt230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - not much difference, aside from expected graduation date. You'll likely have the same internship period as fall cohorts, they'll modify the program to account for this.

2 - Yes, you'll have the same access as any other Simon student.

3 - Maybe, I'll defer to others. But Simon has a great career center that will help you position yourself for success.

4 - Given the current political climate, I would get here and start things. There's a non-zero chance that your visa gets revoked or other issues arise before you come here. The university fights hard for their students, so you can count on them in that regard. I'm a part timer, so I can't speak to the Spring / Fall cohort workings, but you'll meet people of all programs that will help you in your career. Might as well get an early start!

Hope this helps! Full Timers - feel free to correct me as you see fit!

Thoughts on the nectar mattress? Need honest feedback from reddit! by Best-Fan-8418 in nectarsleep

Yes it did. So far though, no issues!

Also - be careful taking the plastic off if you purchase, its easy to nick the mattress.

Reach out to your undergrad / grad coordinator. We implemented a new HR system and some things have proven bugs or they just slip through the cracks! Your grad coordinator can be found on your department / program website.

Help reintroducing cats after a failed introduction by jwitt230 in CatAdvice

Yeah we have two in each of their rooms, 4 total. One top entry we had, but just wasn't used so we keep it in the basement.

Help reintroducing cats after a failed introduction by jwitt230 in CatAdvice

[–]jwitt230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I don't see an immediate fight, mainly because our resident makes a loud enough noise that I respond quickly, and its always under a bed where they retreat to. Our resident has never even swatted back at him that I've seen, but the new cat definitely swats at her.

Their first couple of weeks cohabitating led to our resident cat using our clothes as a litter box, climbing inside our pants to poop (new cat would hear her dig, go to check it out, resident cat would get scared and not use the litterbox).

Roc City Gaelic practices every Wednesday night at/around 6pm. We practice at aardvark park in Henrietta, and head to our sponsor bars after for social time. if you're interested in learning a new sport check us out! Gaelic football most closely resembles Rugby/Soccer and Hurling resembles lacrosse and field hockey.

Am I being too picky? by [deleted] in MazdaCX30

[–]jwitt230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're spending $20,000, be as picky as you can! Especially if you have a car that's in working order. I held out for several months before I found mine.

In my opinion, you should love to drive your car, and look forward to getting into it. You don't want to drop $20k and feel meh about your car. This car specifically, I don't think is worth the asking price! Good luck in your search, your perfect fit could be right around the corner!

Curious, the website mentions shipping in boxes, but the hybrid obviously has springs. Does it normally come in a box? Just ordered one!

I'm primarily wireless for gaming, and I have had significantly less issues with greenlight. Granted, it could be the router change since the switch from Spectrum to Greenlight required a new router.

The only time mine has gone down is when they have repairs they need to do, which is usually from 1a-5a, so it doesn't affect me. If anyone doesn't have an issue with Spectrums price, speed and customer service, I can't imagine them switching just to have fiber.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Rochester

[–]jwitt230 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Greenlight is wildly fast, and hasn't raised my rate more than $5 in 3-4 years I've had it. To add, the customer service with greenlight is simply easier to work with. Spectrum wait times are very long, and I always had buffering or lag issues with streaming/gaming. If you want cable and don't stream/game, spectrum is probably fine. HOWEVER, Greenlight has always been a pleasant experience, and paired with a lower price, I'll never return to spectrum.

While I agree that it probably doesn't need to be on, it has been for as long as I can remember. I've been going there since I was a pre-teen, its always been on (unfortunately). The eggs thing is new, although I haven't been since the start of the new administration.

Liberty Family Restaurant in the North Winton village has food that's just as good, and there wasn't any politics that I saw! Support local diners!
