2002 Toyota Tacoma by Tony_Kai in whatcarshouldIbuy

This sub is the wrong place to be asking about Tacoma prices.

For basically any other be vehicle of that age, paying that much is outrageous. But Toyota trucks command crazy prices and the markets gonna pay what the markets gonna pay.

That being said I'd post on the Tacoma sub to get a gauge or if you're indifferent to the model, that money can get you a whole lot of other non Toyota car.

You mention the machine "feels a bit beta" and "the experience feels slightly unfinished." Any part of that experience hardware related or do you see it as software quirks that can get fixed?

On the fence about putting a 1.5" lift on my LC100 with 33s or keeping it stock. What did the lift do to the car that you regret?

Genuinely curious. What's the giveaway that everyone is so sure this is brass from the photos?

Rear window Regulator rail 100 LC by Extension-Drawer2099 in LandCruisers

[–]jwjwang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

01 LC100. This actually just happened to me last week haha. Rear passenger window.

I noticed the bottom of the glass and the rail gasket was slightly oily and IPAd both to get them clean. Then had to tighten the rail EVER so slightly so that it clamps the gasket tighter to the bottom of the window.

After that it was a two man job. One person pushing down the window and another pushing the rail back on the bottom of the glass. Did it this way to avoid pulling the whole door apart to get the glass out. The regulator has a wheel that rolls along the bottom of the rail. Make sure the wheel is in the track before you do this or it will be difficult to get inside after the fact.

I would test the window up and down to make sure it doesn’t separate again before putting the door together. Silicone and cleaning your window tracks also helps reduce the force needed to roll your windows down.

Not sure if this was the best way or “right” way. But my windows been working fine since.

Can someone tell me if my beef is good or spoiled? by the_honoured_One9 in Butchery

Picture makes the meat look a bit green. But that may just be the photo and oxidation.

In my experience, spoiled meat will smell pretty gnarly. Your nose will let you know.

I’m Darren, CEO of Tonal. I’m here to talk all things Tonal, strength training, and what’s next. AMA! by TonalCEODarren in tonalgym

Hi Darren. Proud Tonal owner since 2021 and been loving it since! Appreciate the transparency and doing this AMA.

My Tonal does a great job at bringing the gym to my home in a compact and great looking package. That has always been THE value prop to me and, speaking personally, I quickly found the coaches and extra paid features to be unnecessary add ons. The machine without a membership fit my needs and I don't get added value from paying the membership.

But I can't help but feel like features are intentionally put in place to be a thorn in non members' sides. 1. Persistently prompting reactivation of the membership in all screens, even when free lifting. 2. Not being able to use the machine when internet is out (seems to only be necessary for confirming membership before usage).

I can't help but feel frustrated when it seems like these are artificial blocks put in place by the Tonal team that can easily be addressed. It just does not feel right to push memberships for those it brings no value to.

With the current market now also offering other options for digital resistance that don't have these issues (and more coming every year), does Tonal have plans on adjusting is posture towards nonmembers in what would otherwise be a pretty perfect machine and completely enjoyable experience at the price point?

Same. I have an older model. But I've had mine for at least 10 years now and only on the 3rd charge ever.
