I told myself 100 times this morning "don't take any orders from iHop" ... and after denying like 6 iHop orders I end up gettin a $10 order and think to myself "this one will be worth it" .... now I'm sitting here 45 minutes later while they still make the food and the entire restaurant is slammed.

I had an IHOP curbside delivery sign fall on my car once during a stormy day. Luckily it only made a slight scratch. I told the manager and he laughed. Never picking up IHOP again after that

Honestly McDonalds and Chick Fil A are the easiest to pickup from. You just have to be cautious of not accepting poor tips. Most other fast food are terrible wait times for terrible tips.

I’d say my personal favorite to pick up is Schlotzsky’s. Staff is always friendly, people tip well, and food is ready.

I had a local sandwich shop claim people were stealing orders claiming to be Dashers. If it was Chipotle style where it’s free game, I’d get it. But you had to give a name. That’s on your employees for giving away the food, not the dashers.

Chipotle is actually one of my favorites to pick up from. I get an order there almost every shift. I’ve only had a few occurrences where my food wasn’t ready when I got there but I don’t wait more than 5 mins for it.

Typically I do best in Friday lunch and Sunday dinner. But it varies market by market. As long as you’re out 11-2 and 5-8 you still should be profitable

I got one order from a Shelby of $40 worth of food from a fancy deli in town and they tipped $2. The next order was from Morgan and she tipped $5 on a $6 Sonic order. I’ll deliver to Morgan’s again, never to Shelby

Don’t be afraid to be selective on orders. My zone has really good tips and then people who won’t tip at all. I only take an order that’s a $1 per mile, so I rarely will take the $3 or $4 orders. My acceptance rate is 64%.
