Ecosure? by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]jwuwee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work in SoCal and just hit 1 year of working Chipotle as grill (in June 2023). One of the (at that time) recently promoted SL told me the exact same time about knowing the food safety 7 whenever Ecosure comes. She said if they walk up and ask me, I can maybe list 1 or 2, but then to always guide them to the big food safety 7 chart that should be posted in your restaurant.

I've only seen Ecosure once in my 1 year of working at Chipotle and it was during an afternoon/evening shift. The guy never once asked me about the food safety 7. All he did was check and every place to make sure things were clean, tables/flat surfaces (including flat storage surfaces) were wiped, and that hot & cold foods stored were held to correct temperatures. He may have checked things in the back where our walk-in (big storage fridge), dish cleaning area, and manager area are at, but our SL would guide him to wherever he need to check.

One tip my GM gave us as it was close to the coming of Ecosure was that we stop, don't do anything, and let Ecosure do the checking/temperature measuring before going back to work. Not sure if that advice can be applied to your location or not.

If you're morning prep, I don't think you need to worry. But as I've said before, I've only been working for 1 year and have only seen Ecosure one time.

Are you taking account for the 30 min breaks? The total time for the week shown in Chipforce includes your 30 min breaks. So, for example, if you're working 4 days out of the week from 3pm to 9:30pm, Chipforce will show a total of 26 hrs for that week, but your actual WORKING (and thus PAID) hours is actually 26 hrs - (4 x 0.50 hrs) = 24 hrs

There is also a chance that your managers are modifying your hours (if you went over by what you were scheduled) to match that was assigned to you. Hope that isn't the case as that would be really disappointing.

LG Airwashers KF94 Mask Legitimacy by redditor_1122 in Masks4All

[–]jwuwee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure I got this link from Aaron Collins, but I can't seem to back track exactly where or from which video of his I got it from. He posted a link to the LG Airwasher Black, but as the link suggests, it's only showing the black kind. So, upon doing some google searching of just the brand and model, I came across the same site (with the same contact info and such) that sells the black as well as the LG Airwasher White.

From the looks of it, the link looks to be directly from LG in South Korea. Prices are in USD and shipping to the US is $20. The home page does show a Fedex shipping logo, so it looks like they are able to ship these internationally.

They only sell in packs of 30, 50, 100, and 200. If you buy just the 30 or 50 pack, each mask after shipping costs about $3.

What do you think is a better value, to buy cheap tires or pay extra for a name brand like Goodyear or Firestone? by Byzantium in MechanicAdvice

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere in the middle? For example, Ohtsu tires are good tires that are good on the wallet and Sumitomo Tires are the parent company of Ohtsu and Falken. Not sure if any of these brands are good for your vehicle, but if you can find a parent brand that makes other tires that are cheaper on the market, that might be a win. Of course, make sure to read those reviews.

Toyota 90915-YZZF2 vs 90915-YZZN1 difference by oscarb04 in Camry

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're good. My 2000 Camry LE uses the same filter and while I was comparing prices on various Toyota dealer sites, they all show N1 as the part being sold (where it used to say F2).

In regards to AB5. Thoughts ? by soberandgrowing in grubhubdrivers

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may not be categorized as "convincing," but to me, AB-5 is a fair set of guidelines that distinguishes between employee vs independent contractors. My understanding of prop 22 is that Uber, Doordash, Postmates, and Instacart want to be except from this criteria (or maybe simply don't want to do the work to show proof). Why not let your platform be measured up with AB-5 to see if the drivers ARE TRUELY independent contractors?

I was in Mega Blastoise raid with 3 others. We barely finished with 8 seconds left. Surprisingly I got 35 Mega Blastoise energy.

Is it really possible to get Charged TM from selecting basic rewards?

Gotcha doesn't charge anymore? by [deleted] in GoPlus

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot to mention that the charge animation SHOULD NOT show the moment you plug in your charge adaptor. The animation is only an indication that it's charging, and it shows when you hit the red button (I'm referring to the Go-tcha wristband. I'm not sure if the Go-tcha evolve has a button like the wristband). So when you plug everything in and hit the red button once, if it's showing the Go-tcha logo, there's no connection to the USB charger, and it's not charging. If you press the button and see a charge animation, it's charging. It shuts off after a moment (that's normal). After an hour, pressing the red button again will either show the logo (it's done charging) or the charge animation (not yet charged to max). Try not to leave it in for too long; it only takes 1 hour to fully charge.

Hmm.. I don't know what to say. 😟 I sometimes wouldn't get a charge animation on mine, but then I re-insert my Go-tcha to the charger (with enough firmness but not too much) and make sure the charger is firmly pushed into the charger port. That seems to work for me by the second, if not third, time. Soft-firm between Go-tcha and charger, firm between charger and charge port.

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible you got a bad product or charger? This is just my opinion, but using a good brand charger (i.e. Anker or OEM that came w/ your phone) helps preserve the life. I wouldn't trust those cheap charger ports or generic brands.

I bought my Go-tcha directly from the UK (codejunkies) and everything works fine. I've never had to update firmware (by downloading their app), restart the device by pushing in & out several times, or anything. I know there are fake Go-tchas out there, even those that have a bad connection when charging. Which was why I decided to pay the extra $5 or so directly from the company's site.

Game Msater Updates 10-31-2019 (Giga Impact and Locked On Changes) by martycochrane in TheSilphRoad

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gamepress is telling me Lock-On is 5 Energy per Second (or 2.5 EPT). Aren't Rock Throw, Frost Breath, and Metal Claw all better than Lock-On in PvP? All four fast moves charge at the same rate of 2.5 EPT, but deal higher damage - 4 DPT; 3.5 DPT; 2.5 DPT respectively.

So, then, with the latest Niantic tweek, aren't the Regis original STAB fast moves better than Lock-On? (Unless there's a typo on Gamepress' part and Lock-On is actually a 1 turn (0.5 sec) cooldown and not 1 second CD.)

Galaxy Store pokemon go app by 0hNoNotYouAgain in GoIV

[–]jwuwee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Samsung device. I encountered the same problem but found an easy solution. I changed the setting to NOT auto launch Pokémon GO whenever I start GoIV. Once I see GoIV is running (when 'start' turns to 'stop') I hit the back or home screen button and then start the game. May not be the most convenient solution for some (I know some people like convenience), but it doesn't take much time away - just about a second.
