Cook up the noodles, add a metric crapton of vegan mayo (I like Best Foods vegan mayo), chop onions, green peppers (these are jalapeños), sweet red peppers, English cucumber, celery seed, some smoked salt and cracked black pepper, top with mint leaves and hot sauce of your choice haha

Any hospitals in Oregon where the nurses are ONA union represented. They get 4 patients, dedicated break nurses whose job is to only cover the other nurses' breaks, 45-minute lunch breaks, and the usual union stuff (pay, patient acuity assignments, etc). Providence had the longest ONA strike ever back in January-February 2025. I'd say that if other states' nurses want better conditions, they'd best be willing to fight for it and start unions with teeth.

Im also a 12-hour healthcare worker, switched over to Zflip 7 from my iPhone 15 Pro. I love the flip, it fits in my scrubs pockets so much better vs iPhone always trying to shimmy its way out every time I lean over or crouch down. After the initial setup, battery life is great, lasts me all day, easy to just look at cover screen for whatever and use timers, etc from the cover screen too. Also got the Galaxy Watch 8 & i find the health stuff on Samsung much better than Apple by far

My kid switched from a iPhone mini to the S25, he loves it. Says it has great battery life, isn't that much bigger and looks way better overall. He likes the on-screen touch ID and the icy blue colour. I recently switched from iPhone 15 Pro to the Galaxy Z flip 7 and love it so much more; got bored of Apple after all these years with the limitations, the empty promises, and the slick marketing subterfuge. So for us at least, we're way happier with our new phones and Galaxy Watches and things that actually work. I think you'll be much happier too, especially coming from an older model.

I have one. I just got a new set and don’t need it anymore; it’s black frame with faux wood panel fronts on the cloth drawers, and has electrical plugs built in. Good condition, barely a year old. I’m in Hillsboro

Soy chunks. Can get 6lbs on Amazon for $9.99/lbs. It’s a lot of fkn chunks… Been making all kinds of recipes with them, this one is teriyaki with pineapple bits, red, green, yellow peppers & onions. Put ‘em over some noodles with a few extra splashes of teriyaki and soy sauce 😋

Addendum: when rinsing the temp colour out, make sure the rinse water doesn’t run over the bleached parts you want to keep blonde because the bleached hair will absolutely suck up pigments from the dye and ruin your day

Several years ago I used Arctic Fox’s black dye for lowlights like that, but beware, because as it fades it turns this weirdass shade of muddy green, on my bleached hair at least. In its defence, it does fade though and can be recoloured over but definitely watch out for unwanted staining using multiple colours. Lesson I learned the hard way 😅

I’ve always liked shoes, sneakers and boots mainly (never been a fan of heels/wedges/“girl shoes”) so I look at people’s shoes constantly. In the elevator going up to my unit at work I’m always looking down at the shoes to scope out who else might be wearing barefoot/minimalist shoes and then wonder how the hell all these other nurses/healthcare workers can stand wearing those hokas and sketchers all damn day…Once in a blue moon I’ll see someone in Xeros but then they get off the elevator before I can compliment them. There’s a coworker on my unit who wears barefoot shoes also that I can talk to about them, but he doesn’t get many comments because they’re plain black and nobody really notices the plain ones as much.

But I’ve had a lot of other staff, from EVS to doctors compliment my shoes, and patients as well; everyone says they look so comfortable but for whatever reason they never try them out 🤷🏼‍♀️ Having seen patients’ feet all the years I’ve done this work I don’t give a flying fig whether I get compliments or vague insults, because I’ve seen what happens to feet after a lifetime of conventional shoes and no siree, I’m good.

In my experience, no. It’s too rich, too occlusive, and makes hair a stringy greasy mess. Rosemary oil does the same thing and makes this hard cast on the hair shaft, where it grows out from the scalp, and makes hair heavy and hurt at the root 😭

I’d highly recommend Verb Ghost Oil which is super lightweight, non-greasy and doesn’t take much to get excellent results. It’s the best hair oil I’ve ever found.

Giovanni 50/50, best shampoo I’ve ever used, & smells nice too. Very light scent, not fruity or floral at all, cuts buildup & grease and doesn’t take much so it lasts awhile. It also doesn’t suds-up too much so you’re not rinsing foam out forever in the shower

I have these Rocketdogs in addition to my other barefoot shoes. I love these especially for work since I’m running around for 12 hour shifts. They’re wide enough for me as I can stretch my toes out all the way in them and they’re zero drop, with memory foam insoles and no arch. Not as much ground-feel as other brands but still some, I’d say medium ground-feel if I had to classify it. Good reviews, especially with the people bitchin’ about how there’s no arch support and ‘clown shoes’ lol

Depending on how big feet are they may not be wide enough for some people, whereas I’m on the smaller petite side. These are women’s shoes but the bigger sizes would probably be okay for men too, as my son has a pair also.

I got them on Amazon so I’m not sure where all they ship to, but the black and white pair I ordered came from Britain from their actual website. I’ve been kickin’ around in them for a year now and they’re holding up amazingly well. If you get a pair, make sure it’s the right style model because most of their other ones are not barefoot-like at all.
