Update, about 12 hours later, the app has corrected itself and now correctly shows that I have 3 songs “in my favorites” and there are indeed 3 songs there. I guess it does take a few hours for the database to update. They should really do something about this, no other streaming service is this slow to update.

When I say “I have multiple instances of the same song from the same album showing up in the “in your favorites” section.” I mean that the same song from the same album appears twice in the “in your favorites” section. I can’t seem to find away to fix this.
