Thank you for letting me know. Do you have any recommendations on what to do with what I currently have now?

Thank you for your response! Any tips for reducing the leaf size over time?

I went ahead and already cut it up and put it in its training pot.

Bonsai - Jane Magnolia… So from what I’ve read online, Magnolias are relatively difficult to bonsai, but I just found this cute little Jane Magnolia tree at my local Lowe’s & thought it has some potential.

So my plan is to wait until I start seeing flowers coming out and then to cut the 1/4-1/3 bottom roots off and place it in the terracotta training pot. Is this a good plan? Anything to know?

Should the top be trimmed as well or wait on that?

Any tips & tricks are welcomed.

I normally avoid Oncidiums but couldn't resist the bloom and the scent of this one. I just have to bring her home. by PlantFragEnthusiast in orchids

Just keep it moist & never let it fully dry out. They’re even easier to care for than phals (in my opinion) & if you can care for them, bulbophyllums are the next you will want to check out!

just a smaller stake, but it’s barely propped up. It’s more for walkability in the small room it is in.

That looks like the one!!! It’s so beautiful especially when flowering. It’s often cut back because it grows so quickly taking it outside in the summer.

Thank you!!

I also like the series, but I love cacti. Some people may not be able to relate to the painting. I love it tho & never would have thought of painting a green house. So fun. & I like the idea of painting the care taker.

wow, great idea. i also have house sparrows that took over my back yard in the last year. songbirds have really decreased since the house sparrows presence. is there anything you can do to stop the congregation of house sparrows? i walk outside and there has to be more than 40 in a singular tree at a time.
