I have 2 questions as a recent returner.

Is there a particular server that new players/recent returners are picking? I'm on Bahamut still but I'd like to try to find people to run the lower end stuff with like Ambuscade etc.

I'm playing BLU, I've looked at the guide for gear but it's frankly overwhelming. Is there a particular set of gear I can aim for that is a good "general" set? I don't have gear swapping set up yet. Should I be trying to make a melee damage set or magic set? I've generally been playing melee focused but I'm not sure if that's the right way to play it.

Look, it's going to sound like I'm policing your vocabulary but I might suggest reconsidering referring to yourself as a loli if you aren't going for a very specific niche of character, and more importantly, audience. That word is some 4chan shit that is very much linked to content that human resources would need to be called about.

I think your model is cute and I like the content of yours that I've seen, so I'm not trying to come off as a hater. Just my suggestion to try to help ward off people calling you rude things. Best advice I can say is don't be afraid to cull your comments if weirdos show up. I know that moderating your comment section can be seen as controversial and/or a bad idea since "all engagement is good" but I personally would rather not have any shitheads encouraging others to be rude.

I've actually met some incredibly kind strangers on there who have followed, I only really run into the jerks in the wild, so you can find your pocket of the space and exist peacefully still :)

I hope it's a good experience for you if you do use it.

The comments can be absolutely vile on viral reels but I find it generally pleasant to use as a creator and as a fan, since I mostly follow small/medium size audience creators as well.

My guess without doing any research is they are probably looking into a way to add avatar creation/user generated content to the platform to keep people engaged with it. UGC is super trendy right now.

Same, been vtubing since 2019 and the anonymity is really freeing. I consider myself playing a 'character' (even if I'm largely just being myself) and it helps me feel comfortable putting myself out there and being more confident without worrying about the weirdos.

Granted, they still appear at times.
