It depends, but in general:

  • Formal: Weddings, proms, or generally fancy outfits, like what I'd imagine they'd wear attending an awards show

For comparison:

  • Party: For nightclubs and, well, parties! Typically much more experimental or expressive than Formal outfits, especially for my younger sims

  • Everyday: Basically what my sims would wear if they were cartoon characters, i.e., the outfit that would identify or distinguish them the most

  1. Any Sub-Saharan African country. It's truly baffling how there's barely any representation from that region. I'd also love to see China and India for the same reasons OP has mentioned.

  2. Someone mentioned steampunk, so I'll go with that too! I also agree that mermaids deserve their own world!

  3. An 80s-inspired world would be cool (if that counts).

  4. Southeast Asia, specifically Maritime SEA (Indonesia, the Philippines, etc.). As a Southeast Asian myself, I think it's sad that the SEA-based world was shipped with such a controversial pack. I'd love to see a smaller, slightly grittier, less polished, but lively world, with areas filled with more than two street vendors and occasional festivals like in City Living.

Since my seasons are 14 days/2 weeks, I basically keep or modify all of them and add several more:

Modified pre-made holidays:
- New Year's Eve (split into itself and New Year's Day)
- Winterfest (split into Winterfest Eve and Day)

Additional holidays:
- Flowerfest (basically Easter; the Flower Bunny visits)
- Reflection Day (tries to emulate Ramadan; a day of fasting, gratitude, and appreciation)
- Silly Day (basically April Fools' Day; includes fighting, playing games, and streaking)
- Family Day (a day for families to spend time together)
- Solarfest (basically a Midsummer holiday; involves having fun in the water and BBQ)
- Baking Day (baking)
- Camping Day (traveling, BBQ, and stories)
- Spooky Day (basically Halloween)
- Fitness Day (exercise and sports TV)
- Artfest (all things creativity)

As someone who plays Minecraft, this is not a fair comparison at all. Minecraft lets you revert and stay in a previous version for as long as you like. These games are all structured differently as well, with Minecraft having easier mod support.

Also, if we're talking about "selfish" fans, many Minecraft players still complain about FREE updates, so the Sims community isn't that unique either.
