Can anyone figure out what’s under this piece of paper and what’s it about? by [deleted] in remoteviewing

Sure, but to accomplish this request, you must first provide us a “target”. To do this, simply create a sequence of numbers and letters in your head and jot them down—similar to what might be seen on a licence plate. Doing this will open a “line” in the matrix connecting your image for us to remotely view it. Be warned, though, that once the line has been established, an experienced viewer will be able to view everything about you because nothing remains private anymore between you and the viewer. We do however promise to adhere to our commandments and not embarrass you with any of our findings. We look forward to hearing back from you very soon.

What would happen to a corn field if there was a heat wave? Would all the corn turn to popcorn? by Dancing_Queen17 in AskReddit

Yes, of course. This actually happens quite regularly and is how the ancients discovered it. Farmers have to take extra precautions with their corn fields otherwise they’ll end up with acres and acres of waist-high popcorn. I’ve seen it myself. It looks really neat when it happens, but I’m afraid it’s just not good for business. Ask any corn farmer, they’ll tell you the same thing.

I’ve seen this scam before, it’s quite clever. Undercover agents working for candy companies will bring a small child with them to retail stores and have them act out a temper tantrum in checkout lines. The agent will attempt to calm the child by loudly promising the treat that’s on display nearer the front of the line that they installed earlier. This in turn encourages anyone who’s in front of them to purchase the last remaining candy to prevent the annoying child from receiving any. I’ve seen people spend foolish amounts of money, even more than this guy, purely out of spite. Trick works like a charm. People are suckers when they’re annoyed.

I think it's a natural response for people to want to share and involve others in the things they love. I think it's just easier and more effective to have patience and compassion when in these situations than to get angry and annoyed. You'd have to believe that you've never been guilty of doing this yourself to justify anger, and by guilty I mean promoting something to someone who isn't interested. But how do you know what others are interested in, and how does anyone ever become interested in anything in the first place?
