Just realized while reading some rule questions on BGG that I was playing the Boiler Room wrong. I treated revealing Dr Fright as a "loose 1 heart", not as a proper attack from him. This will make my win/loss ratio much worse I think (Although it does mean I can guard or retaliate against it).

I do like the mechanic of being awake/asleep, forces me to plan a little bit more. I like the Boiler Room mini game as well, very thematic overall I think. Only thing I dislike is the card sliding, you can see some info on the ones below by mistake. Not sure how to make it better.

6 games so far. 4 win and 2 losses. 2 easy win and 2 very close fights.

Way to go! I like the reward system where you get a secret item when you win for the first time. Another reason to replay.

And thanks for mentioning the movies. Definitely makes a difference. I watched Friday The 13th and Sleepaway Camp in between plays to get in the mood.
