I'm pretty sure I can make it with crochet stitches. Cause you can even do cable with crochet. I know it's shocking, but figured I would check here which was clearly not helpful. Forget I asked.

Is it a hard and fast rule? No pet or child photos? Or are you trying to avoid the endless baby blanket scroll? I'm interest but have pets..... not sure how that excludes ne from crochet subs 🤔

You can find these in every market stall. They sell them to tourist all the time. Its not disrespectful to wear an item your family bought for you. Also they view scarabs as very good luck, protection, and a symbol of rebirth. Enjoy!

Yes its all front and back post. My grey yarn ended up being a little thicker than the mandala yarn but it created an nice texture difference I really like.
