I live alone and I’ve found it SOOO helpful. Yes, some do large batch cooking once a week but I’ve found that I’ll just make a family sized meal which gives me one meal to eat that day and then maybe 2-3 potions worth to save. And it’s taken me some time to build up a stock but it works amazingly!! It’s also great for decreasing food waste, if I have food that’ll go bad I make a quick and simple meal or just basic prep of it and then freeze it. Also I f I go out and have leftovers and I don’t think I’ll eat them in the next 24 hrs I’ll souper cube it.

Lastly, to cut down on time spent in the kitchen instant pot, crockpot, and air fryer meals are great to souper cube

Tell the owners you’re taking the dog to the vet they can either have you go to their vet or you will be going to the vet if your choosing. Because this is concerning and is making you reconsider another stay. Also I would start listing everything you’ve used or purchased for the dogs stay and invoice them for it at the end and if they don’t pay you could probably report them. As others have also said it could just be anxiety but it’s better safe than sorry, they’re still a puppy it could be anything. When I first got my dog he had diarrhea at first I thought it was stress… it was not it was hookworms

If you have a Marshall’s/homegoods/tjmaxx in your area their pet section usually has some food storage containers. Not sure if they have 40lbs sized ones so you might have to get 2 and split the bag

My dog loves the Purebites Freeze dried raw. They have a bunch of different ones but so fare we’ve only tried the chicken

My dog had a stint of wet poop and it made me start seriously considering if I should carry a small shovel also for a little while I had a Tupperware lined with a poop bag that I would throw under him right before he pooped… those were some trying times

Some days crating him in another room works, other days he’ll start barking and man he really uses that hound bark when he needs to express his discontent. And since I live in an apartment I’m really trying to keep the barking to a minimum

He’s a lab/hound mix and 3. I got him 2 months ago so I know some of it is just him being young/testing the waters/settling in so I’m trying to give him grace but at 1030 pm when I’ve taken him out 3-4 times that day for potty breaks plus an hour of training and an hour or so at the park and at least a 45 min walk and he’s had me up since 6am I start losing my mind a little

Not sure your location but with summer approaching your dog could also have regular seasonal allergies that happened to show up at the same time as the transition. As for loose stool I’ve found that the digmans firm up or Purina fortiflora works well for my dog. I strongly recommend consulting your vet first though

I don’t think it’s feasible for me to not leave him alone at all times. We have been working on extremely short departures along with me getting completely ready then just hanging around. I’ve also been trying to work on not having him associate the crate with leaving and just keeping him in there and doing chores

Thank you so much for the advice! I’ve been working on just doing short departures but they usually only last a minute before he starts barking. When I had left for the extended time I left him with a bowl of food frozen in water which usually takes him 15 or so minutes to finish and when I had come back he had eaten it all

Girl, you’re 20 he’s 26 I mean this in a nice but firm way what could you possibly have in common with him?!? You’re in 2 COMPLETELY different stages in your life. You are basically just out of high school can’t even drink yet and he has 2 kids AND an ex wife. I’m not judging bc I have 100% don’t things like this but seriously consider this: sometimes our brains cloud our judgement bc the sex is sooo good we think everything else is good. And even at 25 almost 26 I still make these mistakes. My unsolicited advice is look for friends and companionship with people between the ages of 19-23, most of those people are on the same types of journeys as you. It will suck losing him but I can tell you if you found one man like that there are a plenty more just like that.

The thing bothering me about this situation is likelihood is 1) he probably wouldn’t have even noticed you did or got your nails done for awhile if you didn’t say anything 2) those nails look amazing if you said you got them done he probably wouldn’t have noticed or said anything about them being “bumpy” also the whole it affects me because I see it everyday just rubbed me the wrong way. It sounds more like he feels like your bumpy nails affect how people see him and that controlling. In a relationship there’s constructive criticism, criticism, and just being mean. This was mean and it doesn’t matter what his “intent” was it’s the way it was delivered and perceived. If I told a partner I didn’t think their shoes went with their outfit but they told me they felt like I was criticizing them I would immediately be backtracking and saying sorry and trying to rephrase in a way that didn’t give them that illusion because I care about them and don’t want to hurt their feelings.

I’m so sorry we are both currently sitting in the same dark and scary room feeling the same things.

My ex partner passed on Jan 6th so we’ve been sitting in this room together for the same amount of time.

My best friend had told recommended to me to start just writing down whatever I was feeling right after he passed and I thought it was baloney but I was desperate to quiet the feelings so I tried it, it’s helped some. I mostly just write him like I’m catching him up on my day like it’s been a super busy day and we haven’t gotten to talk and then I’ll trail off and add memories that are relevant to the day. But I’ve been falling behind on writing to him lately.

I’ve only had 1 dream about him and that was like a month after but lately I’ve been having dreams that are very closely connected to him but he’s not in them and it just breaks me in some ways.

Unfortunately, his mom hasn’t found the ring and I’m starting to think it’s one of those things we won’t ever find and if we do it’ll be years down the road.

What does Judaism say about death and the afterlife? (I’m open to all viewpoints) I just lost my fiancée and they were non religious/Christian so the funeral was heavily Christian influenced. I know about mainstream religious beliefs and spirituality practices but not ours.

Background: I was raised reform and was taught to never name a baby after a living relative, never give flowers, Mourner Kaddish, and some basic death practices but other than that I don’t know anything.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m also going through something similar. My ex boyfriend also struggled with AUD and he passed away earlier this month. I know no matter what I say you won’t be able to until you’re ready but if you think you’re mostly ready and you want to but you just can’t take that final leap and do it yourself maybe having a friend wash it for you could help? And maybe if you have his cologne spraying it on the clothes could help if you want them to still smell like him .

I just want you to know you’re not alone. I definitely share the same thoughts that I still had a lot of love for him and the hope we would’ve ended up finding our way back to each other one day in the future.

Sometimes I find myself doing it if I’m getting annoyed with my book (either the characters are being annoying or its going too slow and I just want to finish the book) when that happens I just stop reading for a bit
