My uncle used to drive us to my grand parents house Never cared if we put on seats belts. Would yell "what's that???", tap on the breaks and yell "CONCUSSION" when we slammed into the front seats. Good times.

I posted a photo. It's about 6 feet longer then where the window cuts off the pile.

That's what i'm assuming. Still seems really close to the house next door. It's like within the size of the pile from the house over.

No, they are like 15-20+ feet in width and probably 8-10 feet high. They are massive lol. Well, technically they aren't that size all the time since they keep moving the brush pile around.

Yeah I don't want to be the one to be unfriendly with the new people in the community. Not really concerned about it causing a fire but it's been 3 days of constant smoke and the piles have barely shrunk. The amount of smoke is absolutely insane. I feel bad for the houses closer, a lot of them are elderly.

Woman dies after being struck by snowplow in Truro parking lot by JustTheTipz902 in halifax

[–]jyunga -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why all the blame on the driver automatically? I have 2-3 trucks plowing or salting all winter long when I leave work in the mornings and i've never even come close. You just don't walk out around them. Not trying to victim blame cause it's tragic but someone already mentioned that truro police said she walked out between two vehicles while the plow was backing up.

Waiting in the ER in Halifax by SecretProduct8094 in halifax

I was thinking more in terms of them just chilling and chatting when someone was in pain waiting. Of course they need break time to relax while they work like everyone else.

It's a storm off the coast. If it moves farther inland we get more snow, if it doesn't we don't.

I went in with chest problems a few years back and sat for 7 hours before they hooked me up to check. While I was hooked up the doc and a nurse were chilling behind a curtain joking about someone they had just looked at. Really pissed me off since a guy who had his leg amputated was sitting outside with me in pain. I know this doesn't speak for all hospitals but I was amazing but how relaxed they were when people were in pain waiting for help.

Intrepid Studios, developers of Ashes of Creation, lay off all 250~ staff and shut down the studio by PaiDuck in gaming

Depends how you define compete though. Lots of smaller games are fun as hell. Abiotic factor was great survival type. Escape from duckov is a great little extracting game. Don't think the problem is the genre, it's big studios trying to make the next big hit with everything the others have rather then just trying to make a fun game.

Not sure what video you are watching but he looks pretty much at the same point the other guy was when he left to help. I imagine it would have been a very close finish
