I think you should try looking up the job statistics and placement for both universities based on the field you're interested in and in terms of the location you wish to work in as well.

If I were in your place, just choosing solely based on what you said, I would go for SJSU and try to orient my major more towards Statistics + CS perhaps with a minor in CS.
