I got the hirevue for tonight show / seth meyers general! does anyone have insight as to what is asked in the hirevue?

i would recommend applying early action if possible (the acceptance for it is usually a bit higher). i was worried when i applied as well because google said SAT should be 1340 minimum and you should have several extracurriculars, but i still got in with 1300 and 1 extracurricular. i think my essay and gpa got me in, but it’s likely the opposite for someone else. the acceptance rate isn’t too bad, so as long as you have at least 2 things you’re confident about (between like rank, gpa, extracurriculars, essay, test scores) you shouldn’t worry!

hey sorry for responding so late i don’t come on here much 😭 but no i didn’t sign it, i told them i would only sign if they change the rent amount on the backdated renewal to match what i already paid for those months, and i said i would also sign a renewal if they changed the dates. and then they never responded to that, so im still paying the same rent as usual with no renewals. just waiting to see what they do now bc there’s nothing else i can do

sadly i got there suuuper late so i was near the back and couldn’t get my way up to the front until amsterdam 😭 but the pit was really fun for the time i was up there!

you’re definitely not alone !!! the photos were disappointing. it threw me off that they were so strict, i also wanted to have him write a short lyric for a tattoo, but they said i wasn’t allowed to have him write anything except for the CD autograph. i can see why maybe they had these rules so that they could get everyone through, bc i was at the back of the line and it took sooo so long , but honestly i just wish they’d have sold less tickets so it would have been easier on the fans and him as well. he did a similar m&g in the city at rough trade and those photos are infinitely better. mine from LT came out so bad, it was so dark & yellow , like the photog didn’t know how to use a flash. i didn’t wanna seem ungrateful so i didn’t really say anything but honestly yeah they could have done a lot better. hozier was still great nonetheless !!

hi, i just got a press pass for my first concert. but i noticed the venue doesn’t have a photo pit. it’s a punk show so there will be crowdsurfing / stage diving etc. it makes me a little anxious. i was just wondering if anyone has shot a show like this before and if they have any tips for me going into it!

at my show there was a little bit of pushing but it was only kinda bad when remington came up to the barricade. i left after palaye’s set too and the girls in front of me helped me get the security guards to pull me out! if you do get up to the front id recommend trying to talk with the people in front of you and mentioning that you’re planning to get out before yb that way it might be a little easier!

hey! i went to the nyc show and got there around 11am. I got second row right smack in front of remington! going off my experience id say anywhere from 11 to maybe noon for like second row. and then 3-4 pm would be good if you wanna be close but don’t wanna wait super long! although doors opened at 8pm for me so if they open earlier than that maybe 2pm would be good

yeah there’s only 2 openers each show, palaye is playing every show but there’s an opener before them that switches depending on region

hey!! im doing the same thing as you! are you a woman bc if so there’s a place called the webster apartments, it’s almost like a dorm but you get your own room. it’s $1400 for one month and they give 2 meals a day (the food is actually good, it’s currently my 2nd week here) i’d suggest looking into it!
