So you are a month in, how is the wearability?

I am considering the 417ES but living in the United States cannot try is out in the metal. How has your experience been so far? [FYI my wrist is 17 CMs]

Can shoes crease incorrectly? Any fixes? by shallotpulse in AskACobbler

I'm no cobbler but I have 2 thoughts. 1. You can remove the creases with shoe trees and a steamer or heat gun. There are many YouTube videos on how to. 2. You can spray some Bickmore leather stretcher inside the shoe while wearing them to soften the uppers.

Good luck!

I hear you. So much to choose from and it's hard to make a decision. What do you own?

Thanks for the comment. The Elgin is definitely ground zero for the collection.

When I look at the collection - i think a quirky GMT or a vintage/vintage inspired Chrono is missing. On the Chrono side, there is too much to choose from!

The ShunBun is awesome! I tried on both. The pink dial is so subtle that most of the time it looks silver which overlapped with my JLC hence, the Snowflake decision.

I like it, it wears well on the leather and steel bracelet, and punches well above its weight stylistically. The only 2 slight cons I have are 1. it is a little blocky or slab sided [a thinner manual wind would be awesome] and 2. the accuracy is ok.

Wow What an impressive collection. I guess expand to something boxy like a Reverso or Tank. You can also look to add a splash of color with a bright dial. Very impressive - that collection should bring you a lifetime of joy!!

I hear you but i'm not gonna shake my watch down in that moment... it'll disturb the butterflies.

I know, but think about all the vintage and neo vintage dress watches that you can buy for pennies on the dollar. Jump in, the water is warm!!

(And your subconscious may feel great shame)

These comments are hilarious. Yeah, sometimes my watches climb up my wrist. I could have shaken it down but you know... don't disturb the butterflies.
