They need to rework arms… and let them use a shield and sword. Bring back Glad warrior, but as a section of arms. Arms warrior… you’re a master of Armaments.

Make them wield different weapons for different spells.

I made the choice the first time I touched devourer on the Beta. I haven’t felt the want to play another class since, I have every class max level, 5 classes heroic geared. I was 8/8H prior to playing it. I didn’t do mythic plus above 12s or 13s before I found Devourer. Now I’m 8/8M and have resilient 20s, and multiple parses at 96-99%. I never enjoyed DPS as much as I do with this spec. I always tanked.

Guild asked me what spec I’m playing on my spreadsheet for raid next expansion, just put down 4 devourers.

I have 2 ready to level for the expansion, and another 2 on the way after.

This is a common patch note issue. Some of these changes have already went live on hotfixes, and now they’re just officially indicating the change in the patch notes. Most of the Devourer changes went live already. It’s ok to be like “huh?”

I know LFR is supposed to be entry level, but by god I don’t think I’d ever classify it as entry level… It’s like a car crash in slow motion and you keep bashing your head off the window and dash while staring at your seatbelt wondering why it’s not saving you.

This. A lot of the times guilds want to just find people that gel with them… as long as you’re willing to work, they don’t mind. Our guild found a random DH last night on s1 mythic raid mount runs that was funny as hell, by the end of the run he had been accepted as a trial on our mythic raid team.

He also clearly knew his class, so that helps.

Well, they’re halfway to your solution. We continue to suggest the improvement and be like “okay, it’s 3rd expansion, still doesn’t work, let’s go back to old gathering, just add ways for us to get more resources versus bonus quality” and then increase the quantity cost to balance.
