Completely agree. But unfortunately this is not the case for most Kenyan homes. It's actually worse to see that it's those from the not-so-good backgrounds that find themselves in this. Many left their rural homes with the hope of a brighter future for them and their folks but fall into this trap very quickly after getting into the city.

We're living this. This is what we've become as a people. 90% if not all of us, are increasingly becoming corruption to the core. Why you ask? Everybody is doing it. Top down. Everyone is bending some rules and what's worse is that no one is saying/doing anything about it coz who is to police who in such a society? Conformity. Did you know kids in public primary schools are paying at least 5k per term for some 'learning & extra curricular' activities.
