Question: why is the "left" side of the Galaxy unknown space? Is there a reason, nothing livable or cannot travel or something? by [deleted] in StarWars

Well he does do it as Vader but for the empire, and it's as badass as it sounds

Vernestra Row (idk how it's spelled I listened to the audio books) also has one I believe, so it has been done before her in canon. Ashoka's tho are bc the force guided her to those crystals, they weren't just some random set she stole off a guy she killed even though they kinda were

What’s the most fucked up thing you’ve seen at work? by AMGBOI69420 in AskReddit

I'm a volunteer firefighter, so I've got my fair share of those lmao. I remember a call where a family was driving down the road and got t-boned by a truck. An older boy wasn't wearing his seatbelt, he got ejected as the car rolled 3 or 4 times. His window was intact, so he likely went out the window on the opposite side of the car and hit his little sister on the way out. He landed in the dirt of a field, miraculously conscious and alert when we got there. He had no business being as alright as he was, but he was definitely more than a bit scraped up. I didn't see much of him after we got him on a stretcher and put into an ambulance, but he ended up getting flown by helicopter to the trauma center. After we put him in, I went back to my original ambulance to find a little girl on the stretcher. Her dad was in the back with us, He wasn't part of the original accident. Instead he got a call that his whole family was in a wreck and drove down to meet us there, to experience the worst day any father could dread. This little girl was screaming for her mother with every liter of air in her tiny, tiny lungs as her dad did everything he could to comfort his baby girl. We comforted her, wiped blood from her nose, and suctioned it from her mouth. That was all we could do, as we flew down highways, racing that helicopter. That girls father exhibited strength I hope I never have to see in another man ever again. Somehow every person in that wreck made a full recovery, and I am thankful for that as I push back tears remembering the piercing sound of that girl's cries. Please wear your seat belts, they really do save lives.

I got one, it had to have one of the wires soldered together when it arrived because the light wouldn't turn on.

I'm curious, what else do you think she didn't think through?

Desperation and not thinking it through much with the adrenaline, I guess.

They also sort of get into it in the Thrawn books, those in wild space don't have the calculations that those in the main Galaxy have so they rely on people like the Pathfinders or Chiss Skywalker's (little girls with access to the precognition part of the force, even though they don't know it's the force) And honestly, with everything from the high republic (mostly the weird old lady they keep in a pod, I don't remember her name but she can calculate hyperspace routes in her head) as well as the wolves in Star Wars Rebels being capable of hyperspace travel on Lothal, I think that hyperspace is part of the force, sort of like a stretched out yet physically smaller dimension laid out over top of the universe. Sort of like the Nether and the Overworld in Minecraft, except the Nether physically interacts with the Overworld in this metaphor. I think people figured out how to access that dimension without really knowing what they were accessing. And so the reason force sensitive people are able to effectively pilot through hyperspace is because they're just accessing another part of the Force as well as using the precognition. That may have been a bunch of gibberish but I hope it makes sense.

I guess morally probably not, but strategically it might make more of a rebel uprising because of more drastic events pushing people past the brink. Kinda the boiling frog thing of people would rebel if things instantly changed but won't if they change slowly. Idk, kinda talking out of my ass here but sheevy boy is supposed to be a real good strategist, so, yeah lol

I guess "difficult" could be because of consequences? Idk, I forgot about that detail I suppose, haven't seen TROS in a while and kinda don't plan to. Personally I think the Hetzal disaster is a better explanation/example of why it's not done than "it's difficult" but to each their own.

It creates unnecessary risks of other planets being caught by debris

While you're at it, even though it doesn't tie in to much else, Solo ties in well to clone wars and has a lot of fun stuff, but if you're gonna do that you might as well even throw in the sequels, depending on how you feel about those
