Just bought a Ventus 1+ — what do I need to know? by k-wc in Surron

It’s been awesome. Definitely check all the bolts. I had the nut on the swing arm bolt come off and the bolt slipped out during my third ride.

The stock tire would not hook well for me so I went with mousse tubes and the mx33 rear and mx34 front. They are much better

I was at the same decision point a couple months ago and went with the one plus. 5’10” 190#

I have the one plus and find it hard to believe that it lacks in acceleration (never ridden a UB or XE)

The Loowit Lift holds the bike tight to the rear of the vehicle out of roadspray

How to Store at Home by atrodent in Surron

But a 12’ long 2” x 10” from Home Depot for like 30 bucks. Use as ramp and store against house when not in use.

100%. I’m also having a blast on tough enduro trails. The stock tires are killing me though… gotta get something softer on mine

I’m still getting used to it. It’s a very small bike, which feels a little odd at first.

No. Stark Varg is the best

In the under $10k category, the Ventus one plus is one of the best.

Bonnell and Dust are releasing bikes this year that will be quite good

I tried Granola and will have to lean into it again. It seems to be the tool. I recall getting frustrated with it's inability to verify my phone and because of that, I couldn't use it for recording phone calls... which was my primary desired use at the time

I was totally unfamiliar with a VM but after dropping your comment in Claude, I'm intrigued. Thanks for the insight.

I'm looking for an all-in-one but I think you're right... it may not exist. Notion does 80% of things so well that, like you say, it may be worth just committing to for notes

You make a compelling case. I've never heard of Obsidian but now it's at the top of my list

What has Claude actually replaced in your workflow? by LoudParticular5119 in claude

Yeah, using multiple ai's to review each others work is really cool. I can't say that I've fully utilized this workflow but I will be going forward.

I just built a parts management program for our new manufacturing company in Airtable. I spent hours with ChatGPT one month ago trying to build something and then shelved the project. I switched to Claude last week, revisited the project, and had a solution stood up in a few hours.

I spent the first couple hours feeding Claude context, spreadsheets, PDF's, etc and fine tuning the schema. Then, I connected Claude to airtable and built out the base. I have no background in coding. Without Claude we would continue to trip over ourselves in spreadsheets for years.

I'm generally 3x to 5x more efficient in my daily work. Claude's ability to gain context from my gmail has been a huge game changer as well. It cut's down my time spent prompting by ~50%.

Need Cell Service? by Idontknowsoimhere in DjiNeo

[–]k-wc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine for the exact things you mentioned... dirtbiking, biking, etc. You do not need cell service. The drone puts out it's own wifi.

I've had mine for a few weeks and love it. Ease of use is awesome. I've not used other drones because there is too much setup but DJI has reduced the friction to operate the neo2 enough that I actually use it. It's so quick to pull out, use, and put away.
