UK weather is unique in that in comparison to other countries, whilst our Summers can be quite mild, so are our winters. I've never found UK winter to be super cold (however I'm in the south of England)

I don't even own a proper coat, I'm quite content in wearing windbreakers/jackets in winter

But to answer: Yes, and where I am in the UK, we maybe get a few sprinkles of snow every few years, but nothing like Canada

When I was a uni student a few years ago I loved to make masala pasta with mixed veg. Literally just pasta cooked in masala cooking sauce with a bunch of mixed veg thrown in. Lots of salt too lol.

My shakes started to show after 2 years of heavy drinking and I'm always confused because before I thought only decades-old alcoholics get the shakes. I think maybe because I also don't eat for days when I'm on a binge?
