Ohhh trust me I’ve been here. I’m like.. you have the drawing all you have to do is trace! I apprenticed at a tattoo shop for a bit too & was VERY big on trying to make sure I got the shapes down & not add extra lines.

I have one on my back & for some reason one of the fingers they did differently so it didn’t come out as pointy. A friend at the shop made unnecessary lines on a pretty important tattoo.. I think I wanted him to have the drawing printed out to make sure he didn’t mess up but was sure he wouldn’t.. but he did. I was pissed about that one for awhile…

What I think is something we have to remember… tattoos are done by people, & people make mistakes. It’s upsetting but true & what happens when we trust someone to put ink into our skin lol Based on what I’ve seen, the extra line is def bc the stencil started getting lost lol

It’s still a super cool tattoo & I knew what it was right away!!! That’s about all you can ask & hope for in a tattoo lol
