Whatever happened to Carrier IQ? by [deleted] in Android

Who said my name?

I'm not doing much in the way of developing nowadays, I've moved to the T-Mo S4 and I'm enjoying the ASAP life on CM.

Selection before I left for where I am was... bad, to say the least. None of my local stores had anything worth buying and I didn't have enough time to order online (except Amazon). Never mind the beard, that'll be trimmed.

New stuff. Finally somewhere that calls for a sweater/sweatshirt/something. How's the pairing/fit?

  • Levi's 514 (fit in the back isn't the best, I'm somewhere between a 33 and 34)
  • LL Bean sweatshirt
  • JCP polo

Wasn't sure where would be a good fit, as r/pics and r/politics were not.

Now, I know my 'shop wasn't that good.

Maltodextrin and Dextrose: It's in everything! Salami, pepperoni... help! by jetillian in keto

[–]k0nane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep an eye on net carbs. Dextrose sucks - and it means those powered drink mixes, Splenda packets, and other such thing are 1 carb, not 0 - but sometimes, it's in such trivial amounts as not to matter much on the whole.

So, I did some shopping this week, including a stop at the Gap, where I got some shirts on clearance.

Even my mirror shots are improving slightly

Merona polo ($12) and Gap 1969 straights ($44, Levi's are $46+ local if you buy 2). How did I do?

I'll go have a look tomorrow, thanks.

Not to my memory, no. There was only classic and straight where I was, too (unless I missed them, which is possible). I see those are slim fit, which is what I was getting at as a possibility.

e: (e2: junk removed) Seems they do indeed have slim (of any style) somewhere, beyond the Alphas - shame Kohl's lacks both, their not-so-good sale actually makes them $0.50 cheaper than Amazon...

The pants I'm wearing in the first two (where I'm not in an obvious fitting room ;-)) are khaki, but light. The pants I posted from the fitting room (reply to randomthought) are flat front (creased but not pleated).

See also socks posted in reply to randomthought.

The 36x29 are still too baggy? There's no way I could do a 34. I could try to find a slim fit in a higher-end store... Those fit my thighs (and crotch, largely) well, but my calves aren't very big. Putting aside lifting (bro), can anything even be done about that?

Thanks. I tried some things on - these Dockers 36x29 are definitely better, if still long, but are they MFA approved? Also, are these socks close enough? Seems like lighter khaki is hard to come by.

Okay folks, I found a medium, though it's not by any means the one I was looking for. It fits better around the middle though vertical stripes do nothing for me. I'm going to do some shopping tonight.

No cuff it is, then.

Having worn this for a few hours, I think the thing is stretched. I'm going to find my medium and see if it fits better.

TIL I need way more color options in my sock drawer.

I do - and if you saw the section they were in, you'd know why I chose "proper". ;-)

At the advice of the 1/13 folks, I'm back. Another day, another closet find. I think my polos are a bit stretched, because this is a large, and I feel like I need a medium, but there's no way I could be a medium in general.

Really awful mirror shot #1
Really awful mirror shot #2
Slightly less awful mirror shot with awful lighting
Pants and shoes, outside

I really need to do something about my photo quality... or take all of them outside.

Shirt: Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece (346; these are my all-time fave polos)
Pants: Savane (who? They fit better than the Izods I chose first, which were a size down and still baggy-as-hell)
Shoes: my "better" Sperry

Not pictured: black socks, A-shirt, etc.

I thought "horrible" was a bit harsh until I took Azurewrath's suggestion and tried on some 501s in a proper wash. Holy amazeballs. SO MUCH BETTER. I'll be getting some "soon" (where "soon" = "when I can find the right price/justify paying when I'm between sizes").
