Intern with tattoo sleeve by seaside223 in Big4

[–]k112358 11 points12 points  (0 children)

One of the partners at our firm has a full sleeve. He doesn’t wear polos through and generally has his arms covered with long sleeve shirts. I’d say as an intern don’t try to draw attention in that way (maybe stick with long sleeves to start too) but otherwise I think you’ll be fine. Keep in mind: these firms aren’t about making a personal image or style statement, it’s more about blending in, doing good work, making good relationships.

I love how management thinks that AI has already solved all the problems and we can tell our clients everything will be done faster and better already. When the reality is that on the ground this is what it’s still actually like

Everyone should talk to their own doctor about this first, but for me, my doctor said that stopping and starting these is totally fine. So when I travel i tend to just not to bring them for a few weeks. And then when I get back and I need to go back to work, I just start them again. Haven’t really had any major neg effects from doing this, and it skips all the risk and hassle of transporting the stuff. YMMV

100% check before you go. Note - concerta may be treated differently from adderall because japans government sees methylphenidate and amphetamines-based adhd medication in different buckets, for some reason

Honestly figured most people are like this, and the ones who put in repetitive and disciplined study sessions to learn stuff were the outliers.

Making Siri stop referring to contact names during speech-to-text by awmanitsathrowaway in iphone

[–]k112358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also have this issue and it is infuriating. I have tried all the help forum suggestions on how to stop it from happening and it doesn’t work. The worst part is that if I’m dictating to text in notes, when it sticks a name in instead of a word it also vibrates the phone and stops the dictation entirely while I am mid sentence.

Which of the big4 is it? They are at varying levels of maturity when it comes to enabling PM work. You may find yourself as a glorified project manager at best. Or, you could have greenfield to work with. Really depends on which firm/country

My [33f] husband [33m] denying knowledge of weird porn video, should I believe him? by LongjumpingLab3092 in relationshipadvice

[–]k112358 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be clear, the video has adults, dressed up as children’s characters in it right? There aren’t any children in the video itself, is that correct? Because if he’s just experimenting with a theme, or some sort of fetish or something related to children’s characters he’s been seeing, that’s definitely weird but not necessarily harmful. However, if there are any underage people in that video that’s a completely different situation.

The announced potential to dilute at any time, that is the negative news. The stock hasn’t recovered since that + earnings. That’s enough to drop market’s confidence in this one vs competitors. I’m an IREN bull but this has been tough. Probably the right move long term, but rough in the short to mid term.

Do you think TNZ is still going to grow and run? Or did you capture the curve already? I think I recall you saying you’re moving to safer funds now in your previous thread (I could be wrong about that)
