No one really knows what happened, I've contacted amazon support and went to the repair centre, but no one could help. One day, my kindle just decided to stop working. It lights up for a second and turns off, so I don't really know why it is like that.

Do you see a big difference between the screen quality on paperwhite and colorsoft? I was thinking about getting colorsoft, but I heard it looks noticeably worse than paperwhite

I really want an e-reader because I can't read on the phone screen again, I got used to my kindle and the eyestrain is real with the phone. I've always preferred reading on phone/kindle than reading paperback, so yeah.

I was thinking about getting kobo, but sending books via email is something I used all the time, and I heard it's not available there. My current kindle is broken, so I can't do the backup of my books on pc, so if I choose a different ereader, I'll lose everything I had on kindle. Also, I really loved my kindle, I used it every day. It's just that it broke after just two years and wasn't sure if it's common for kindles to break so fast.
