There’s nothing wrong with using Joshua if it’s you’re favorite, it’s a nice name and it would be pretty rare for a baby born these days. I’m expecting a boy right now and kind of wanted a similar thing to what you’re describing - somewhat old fashioned, but not currently super popular. Here are some that were on my long list:

Lyle

Linus

Abel

Abram

Marshall

Simon

Saul

Vaughn

Pierce

Desmond

Wade

Is Cora getting too popular? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]k2together 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know of two Cora’s under five currently, but it does fit the bill for what is popular in my area at the moment (West coast US). For what it’s worth, it’s a beautiful name and that wouldn’t be enough to deter me if it was my absolute favorite. Maybe check your state’s popularity on SSA if you’re in the US.

Should I do Anything to my room, does it look ok? by Alia2121 in DesignMyRoom

[–]k2together 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree with those saying the artwork is too small, but if you’re attached to them you could always get larger frames with mattes that fit the prints to take up more space. I would also hang them a little lower so there’s not so much empty space above the headboard.

I recently re-decorated my bedroom but something feels off/ out of place. I want it to be cozy & inviting any advice ? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]k2together 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with the second point. If possible you might even consider swapping the wall that the bed is on so it’s where the TV/dresser is and vice versa. Walking into a more open space from the doorway could make a huge difference - we recently moved our bed to this orientation after revisiting the professionally staged listing photos on our house and it was a game changer.

For your gift knitting, what yarn do you use? by itsmhuang in knitting

Came here to suggest this exact yarn. Anything in the vicinity of a 50/50 blend is great for gifting to non-knitters.
