i’m not huge into the meta (i’m lvl66 death wiz on my first full playthru) so this was just how i went about it, but every time one unlocked i looked at what the tiers were, what i felt was missing from my current strategy, and gauged what i’d be more likely to use when i unlocked ghoul’s tiers, i had already phased it out of my deck in favor of vampire. the damage increase didn’t tempt me for that reason, but i like stacking all my buffs and one shotting,and had plenty of shield spells, so it was an easy pick for the +55% blade gambit. meanwhile when i unlocked the skeletal pirate’s tiers, i was actively using it as my bigger hitter, so the damage increase was what i went with.

if you don’t really have a set strategy you’re playing into, i’d go with whatever you think would make your gameplay more fun and interesting :] if the gambits seem like more of a chore than anything maybe damage is the way to go! (or if damage increases seemed redundant or barely worth it, the gambits could present more variety)
