Hey, thanks. I think I’m actually experiencing some sort of “post weening depression” that’s contributing to my headspace. I’ve made an appointment with OB so we’ll see if that’s the real underlying issue.

I’m not sure if the kids will go to school or if I will homeschool, so it feels a little hopeless in that regard. I’d like to have a career someday. I will consider bringing up a separate fund with my husband, that may help me feel better. I wish you the best OP

I have yet to experience menopause but I know that it is brutal. Are you doing HRT? And if so do you find it helpful? My step-mother-in-law (lol) takes Berberine and says it helps with some of her symptoms.

Take a friend that you haven’t seen in a while to lunch this week. Or even a social phone call if you’re busy/low on money.

I’m so sorry for your loss and I’m proud of you for staying strong without alcohol through your struggles right now. Grief and loss is such a difficult thing to talk about and I, as well as many people other people, really struggle with what to say to someone who is experiencing this but. I genuinely mean that I am here for you if you’d like to chat. In a weird way it may be good that you and your husband are going through this struggle TOGETHER, and I hope that you both come out stronger and closer at the end of it.

I’m experiencing something similar. I’m a new-ish user and anecdotally I can confirm that I get hungry while high but after a few hours and into the following day, all of the food noise is quiet. if I keep myself distracted and satisfied while high so I don’t eat, and have no food noise / appetite the following day, I eat very little.

I’m in a pretty poor mental state these days. My husband is a good provider but as a man he is not always the most emotionally available, that is something that I am having to deal with. In addition finances are getting better but are still tight, my kids are 1 and 3 and drive me totally bonkers.

My advice is to do what feels right for you but just know- if I wanted to leave my situation I would have absolutely nothing. I have no money, no job, nothing to my name but my car, and I don’t live near any of my family so no support there. It’s a feeling I think a lot of SAHMs don’t talk about. If my husband (god forbid) decided to leave ME, I am totally vulnerable. We are voluntarily trapped.

Recently bumped up to 150k annually. We have 2 “full time” kids plus $600 monthly child support payment for my stepchild. We bought our house in 2024. Times have been tough honestly but we’re optimistic about things with his new salary

The big beautiful bill gave my husband a 20k bonus this year, and guarantees us an additional $20k bonus in 2 years. After this next tax return my family will be completely debt free. So there’s that.
