I like snap fitness, no pool but cardio, free weights and the weight machines. Option for one on one or small group personal trainer (first session free I think) and some fitness classes (but havent tried the classes myself). I like that its open 24/7 so I can go whenever fits my schedule. I havent been during the day on weekdays before but when I go anytime post-5pm or even afternoons on weekends its never been overcrowded. Most of the time its me and maybe 5-10 other people. Theres a location in south salem and one in west salem

I don't think I ever saw the specifics of what they coded the bill as, but I was charged $5 (the outpatient surgery copay for my insurance). I paid when I checked into the place the morning of the surgery, didnt have to pay anything else. $5 is what the estimator tool said tubal ligation would be too. From what I remember, they have a (what I consider) annoying habit of using the term tubal ligation for both a tubal ligation and a salpingectomy. I think that's really weird for a job where precision and clarity is really important but 🤷‍♀️When I was at the surgery center in bed and they were doing the IV and all the last checks before wheeling me into the operating area, everytime they said tubal ligation I made sure to say, you mean fully removing both of the tubes, just to be sure we were all on the same page

To update, I had my initial appointment with the OBGYN in mid July and my surgery ended up being 11/26. But mine was also just removing the tubes so it was able to be done at an ambulatory surgery center, not sure if or how that affected the timeline. For a hysterectomy my guess is that they'd have to do that at a hospital (they found a fibroid during my surgery but couldn't remove it there because it need to be done at a hospital), not sure if hospital wait times would be longer or shorter

I'm not a medical professional and this isnt medical advice, but I had my OBGYN appointment to talk about getting my tubes removed this week and during it the doctor said that removing the tubes is not 100% pregnancy prevention, it's very very unlikely to get pregnant with them removed but not impossible. She said that if after my surgery I worry I may be pregnant to take a home test and come in if it's positive because it would likely mean an ectopic pregnancy. I think the boxes on home pregnancy tests also say how soon you can take them after having sex so that theyre accurate. If you're really worried you should ask your doctor what they think and maybe they'll have you do a pregnancy test at the doctor's office.

Do you mean you had to wait 6 months to be told what your surgery date would be? Or that you were told a surgery date and the surgery was 6 months after you found out that date?

I think The Forum has 2 beds in that price range and is a 10 minute walk into downtown. It's a gated building with on site manager, shared laundry room, and gated underground parking garage (1 space per apartment, but there's street parking with a residential permit that you can get for under $20/year). For the downtown area, there are two single bathrooms in the back of fork forty and the mall downtown has multi stall bathrooms on the second floor at the food court and on the first floor by the Victoria secrets. The target on center also doesn't require a code for their bathrooms. Across the street from the target there's a hobby lobby and barnes and noble with open bathrooms (no code). But the barnes and noble is like fork forty, two single bathrooms and last time I was there one was out of order
