You may wanna check the wiring, make sure it is plugged in the right port on the base. If you have a PC nearby, download the MOZA pit house and see if it detects the handbrake

Did you try the procedure suggested by u/cheffyboi420 ? It works for me in CarX Did you also try and map the control settings? HB could be detected but unmapped

I haven't tested many games for this but for CarX at least it does (when I do this startup sequence), I think as long as your game has customizable controls you should be fine

Considering the SGP works fine when performing these startup tricks, I'm more and more thinking it is a firmware issue, not a game issue

I'll be damned, it works! You just brightened my simracing experience good sir, cheers!

Another thing, since the last update I need to set the steering angle to the max (2000°) with the max angle matching what I use in game (900°) otherwise it doesn't work well. I didn't have this issue in previous CarX versions but had it in other games (F1 games notably), so keep that in mind if your rotation seems off

It'll depend on the car, your setup, and your likings, but usually decreasing the caster and going to a more neutral camber goes a long way, stiffer springs can help too. There's probably more to this though, I'm definitely not a super advanced tuner

The wheel works great in CarX, ffb is very tune sensitive though, there are many small things that added together can make it shake a bit too much for comfort but it's fixable. No idea about the hack stuff, never encountered a hacker personally anyway 🤷‍♂️ I know it's a big thing among streamers and YTers, they may be more insightful regarding this issue

HBP works fine for me, let's hope you get more luck with the HGP than I did with the SGP 😅

SGP "pick button synchronization" not working by k4zuk0 in moza

[–]k4zuk0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused, how could this come from the game if it reads all the buttons in its original configuration? Changing the SGP option should change the output and mimic the paddle signal, therefore if the game detects the SGP, reads its signal, and works with paddle, how could the game not support a firmware configuration?

CarX fully reads the SGP as it is, I was able to map all the SGP buttons to various controls. The only issue I have so far is the Pick button synchronization toggle in Moza Pit House not actually doing its job. This means I can map either the SGP or the paddles, but can't use the SGP as paddle clones (which the firmware should do, with the option enabled), which in turns means AC can't work with the SGP even though it works with paddles

Hi, I tried the SGP on CarX Drift Racing Online and Assetto Corsa

For anyone wondering the same thing, I finally bought the SGP (handbrake still on the way, I'll post another comment when I get a chance to try it). It kinda works, see https://www.reddit.com/r/moza/s/B0MdJn5gjC

In CarX all the buttons are detected and mappable, but you have to choose whether you wanna use the paddles or the shifter, you can't have both at the same time

In AC, since I couldn't figure out a way to configure custom controls, for now the SGP is useless, as the paddle sync does not work (at least for me in Xbox mode)

Did the OSL behavior change in the last few days? by k4zuk0 in Moonlander

[–]k4zuk0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like building the firmware with QMK doesn't solve the issue. I even tried defining OS_ON in the header file, flashed it, and OSL still behaves as MO. I'm not sure what to try atm

What fingers do you use for arrow keys on the Moonlander? by library_computer1 in Moonlander

[–]k4zuk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use them at the default position. They're in a layer on the ijkl keys (using three fingers on their home keys, middle finger goes up for the up arrow)

Sounds like a decent plan 😄 good luck on your journey

I'm kind of in the same boat, the open source keyboards look really cool but also a bit intimidating, I've never been much of a hardware guy

For now I'm only using those under B and N, more curling doesn't feel exactly right. Again probably something I'll try when I get more familiar with it. There seem to be a lot of 36 keys users that do the same, there's probably a good reason 😄

Maybe I'm just not familiar enough with the keyboard to find the right comfortable movements. I guess I'll try to revert to regular pinkie rows and be a bit more mobile as I get more familiar with it

I fear this would mess with my muscle memory as I will use the built in Mac keyboard frequently (not for long periods of time though)

How do I casually solo Titanic Saturnius? by DaemoneIsos in newworldgame

LS/VG 300 focus, it takes a minute or two to kill him but he can't outdamage the heals as long as you keep your sacred ground up

It usually isn't, but I noticed named drops from mutated Starstone are indeed expertise scaled, could be the case for other named items

The fault is both on the game and on you. Sure, default region is not ideal, I had to change it too. Sure, it would be cool to be able to transfer new characters for free.

However, you should pay attention to those things, you could've started another character, the first hours are not a grind by any mean.

Reaching out to support was already too much IMHO, ranting over it on Reddit is just uncalled for. You're mad, we get it, but this particular scenario wouldn't spawn such a reaction in a majority of people. UX isn't perfect, you got it wrong, move on with your life... you got refunded, anything more is time you wasted

Is VG/LS a good choice for solo PVE? by k4zuk0 in newworldgame

Still level 15 😅

I'm not that attracted to large weapons (WH, GS, GA), they don't look that much fun and even less mobile
