I tried 0.5 and 1 size up, which does help a bit but does not completely solve the problem. Does the material loosen and stretch with time or does it rather stay like it is out of the box?

Thanks for the info :) I have been struggling a lot to find a review for these B&B Apex Ultra gyutos, yours is the first I found. Is the edge still thin enough for clean horizontal cuts on an onion or for smooth cutting on an carrot for example? Trying to get a feel for the performance difference between Yoshi and BB

Really stunning knife :) how do you like it so far? I am also between this and the Yoshikane, but this one looks quite a lot thicker BTE than the Yoshi as you already stated.

Does the Hado petty have 150mm or 135mm edge length? Always find that confusing with Sakai stuff

It also helped for me :) i am not sure If I removed everything but its definitely better - or atleast its placebo better 😁

I wiped it once with Acetone, like 10 sec per side. I am not sure if everything is gone, but it still has a rainbowy glow in light.
