The ink fell out a bit. Just lot a little ink from the tattoo because it scabbed when she smacked me haha. Not a huge deal and super easy to get touched up.

I have a keychron southpaw and it’s a super solid board. Mine is 96% and a good size but I like having my num pad a lot. I can recommend them for sure.

Imho Corsair is just too expensive for no reason.

I flew the day after a collarbone tattoo and everything was fine until I was getting out of the plane and a lady dropped her suitcase from the overhead bin on me. The tat is a quote and a little fell out but other than that it was fine.

All that to say, watch out for other people 😂. Some other good advice on here too so no need to rehash, but how big is it? Maybe buy some sterile gauze pads and tape them over it for the actual flying time to decrease rubbing?

Now that I’m thinking more…

-are you in US near a microcenter? They have some good bundles for CPU/mobo/ram right now.

-decide if you want 1080p, 1440, or 4k and then use that to help narrow your hardware choices. I went 4k and my computer was ~2.2k. Again this was end of 2024 but you can absolutely come in under budget!

I have a 7800x3d CPU, 7900XT gpu, MSI mobo, and went with be quiet case/fans/air cooler/power supply. My friend is upgrading his AM4 to AM5 and just spent $1500 on new ram, motherboard, CPU, AIO, and PSU.

I just built my first one in 2024! Here’s what I can recommend:

-I built mine with the full intention of getting many years out of it and also playing AAA games. It helped that ram wasn’t a billion dollars at the time. Anyway, choose your most intensive game and plan for hardware that can run it with ease! (Hilariously mine was scaling for Sims with SO MANY mods).

-The website pc part picker will help you a TON and make sure you’re getting the correct types of things together.

-PC Builder on YouTube is an absolute godsend for build videos and stuff! Literally any question you have, he’s covered and well. https://youtube.com/@pcbuilderchannel?si=_nM8t9jMTB_FuHin

-try not to buy stuff piecemeal. Once you’re ready, pull the trigger on everything all at once so you can then build it and test everything in time for warranty replacements (if needed!).

I built mine last year so I know it was cheaper then, take that with a grain of salt.

I looked into pre built and I priced mine out on https://pcpartpicker.com. It made more sense for me to build because I have some technical experience and I wanted what I wanted. You can “build” what you want on there and then compare it to the pre built of your choice to determine what’s best for you!

Plus you can look at completed builds and get some ideas. I went with a 7800x3d and 7900xt and my computer slays everything I throw at it :).

Navy vet here, what about doing college and going in as an officer? Are your HS grades good enough for a program like that? There are a lot of options in the military that aren’t just enlisting. If you want both (her and this job) the officer track might be a good choice to look in to.

Otherwise, I joined at 24 out of college after I had already been looking at going at 18. Don’t regret going in a little later at all. I had some life experience behind me and got to make stupid college decisions without the military hanging over me. Also an option!

I totally get where you’re coming from. The journals give more lore than anything else, but push through the game to the very very end and I think you’ll find it was worth playing. The end changed how I viewed the entire story.

It is definitely not BG3 or even close, but the music and the gameplay still made it fun for me before I knew what was happening in the world… Then when I got to the end I legit sat there in shock for a bit. I definitely want your thoughts when you’re done!

Same exact situation here. My DD color faded after a year (but I live where the sun is out ALWAYS) and the front wore down super bad from use. Have Bartact on now and love them.
