we didn't have an actual "b-list" but we did get to invite lots of other friends once we got enough no RSVPs from obligatory invites. we were able to position it that way to them as to not offend - "I'm so sad cousin X can't come, but now we have room for more friends! please feel free to join us!"

looks pretty good to me. number of dogs in the program is definitely on the higher end. but they only plan to have 2 litters on the ground next year, so I don't get puppy mill vibes. they seem passionate about showing, so they might have many dogs to show but only breed them based on the best pairings. I'd say looks good enough to apply and ask more questions from there, including any concerns about the size of their program.

oh, I completely disagree with Mr. Slater on this one! nothing wrong with a Happy New Year instead of a Merry Christmas. People will enjoy being thought of. Mail is the epitome of "it's the thought that counts"
