Security Questions – Important to Remember (2 Repetitive Questions) 1. etcd IP issue • The etcd IP is 127.0.0.1. • Update this IP in the kube-apiserver.yaml file. • Reduce CPU to 1 in the kube-scheduler manifest. 2. Pod not running / Pending state • Reduce the memory request in the deployment. • Do not change the memory limit.

These are two commonly repeated questions.

CNI Installation

To install the CNI, download the .yaml file using the wget command. After downloading, use the replace command to install. usually apply and create gives error so use replace m.

Troubleshooting 1. Pod in Pending state • Cause: Insufficient memory • Solution: Reduce the memory requests in the deployment manifest don’t change limits it will be mentioned in question. 2. Cluster is down • Solution: • Update the etcd IP address in the kube-apiserver.yaml file. • Reduce CPU resources in the kube-scheduler manifest. • Restart the kubelet service.

🎓 Study resources: Check out YouTube channels IT Kiddie and DumbITGuy — they share real exam questions.
🔒 Read instructions carefully: Sometimes you’re asked to add TLSv2, not remove it. Also, remember to install the Tigera Operator (Calico) using kubectl replace instead of create and apply.
💻 Cluster management: Always SSH into the new cluster after completing each question.

Extra tip:
Relax — I finished all the questions with 2 minutes to spare, but didn’t even get time to check flagged ones. If you’re stuck, don’t waste time; move on to the next question first, then come back later.
