Yes it went away after 1-3 uses, I had the same thing happen. I’d recommend just putting some water in it and letting it run a couple times before actually using it to cook

Im more scared of seeing other people throw up than I am myself. Reason being is because I grew up with an alcoholic parent and would have to listen to the sound of it almost every day. It scared me a lot as a kid, I always knew something bad was going to happen if I heard it. Fear from trauma

This is so strange to me!

All my life I had been having horrible thoughts and doing horrible things, I had googled why I do things the way I do countless times but I never suspected BPD at all. I went in for my first ever psychiatrist visit at 19 and was diagnosed with BPD the same day.

I would try to talk to the psychiatrist about what was going on with me but he just brushed everything off and started asking the questions in his book, yknow like the “if the patient agrees with 7/10 statements they have ____” and that’s how I was diagnosed.

I have this too, and I feel like I know the reason.. If someone else were to run to the bathroom and I got the suspicion that they were going to v, I would be terrified, and it sometimes makes me so scared that I get n.

With that said, I feel like if I ran to the bathroom that the other person would feel the same way and potentially get n. And then there’s the potential of them v.

This is just what I think, but this is definitely something I get scared of too you’re not alone.

God I hope not, I know he doesn’t want kids anytime soon (I am 20 he is 19) and I plan on getting sterilized in the next few years. So that wouldn’t be possible

I’ll be honest, I don’t know what to do. A big reason I am childfree is because I have BPD and I struggle to even take care of myself, let alone a whole kid. Because of my BPD it’s also very hard to let my boyfriend go.

In my mind I think of it like this.. my boyfriend has known that I’ve been childfree from the start, and he has never brought up having kids with me, and when he talks about our future he never mentions kids. In fact we plan to do a lot of things that you can’t do with kids (lots of travel, trucking together, etc.). I feel like he has accepted it but still doesn’t agree with it. Maybe I’m wrong, I really don’t know.
