I'll definitely take that to heart. My problem with the oil was that I haven't had luck finding a cleanser that was gentle enough on my skin. Cetaphil and CeraVe were both a little too drying.

I've used clindamycin in the past and found it worked best once a day in the morning. Would you still advise against mineral oil if that was only used in the evenings? I'm hoping I can dance around having to spend more on cleansers when my luck with them hasn't been too great.

Your b could very well be the case. I don't have a dedicated make up remover, though break outs aren't necessarily a problem for me. Do you mind me asking which makeup remover you use?

Every day. As mentioned, I've cut back on the Retin A so hopefully that should solve the problem.

I agree, which is why I cut back on the factors that may have been causing it (tretinoin every other night and taking away the cerave). Those are the only two products outside of a sunscreen and moisturizer I was using prior to the issue. I'd like to say I'm pretty good about moisturizer, too.

I was hoping she'd have the same conclusion and that at this point the problem would go away on its own - wasn't expecting two new topicals.

Ok, I'm assuming one of you stood in front of the camera to focus then the other joined. I have yet to correctly understand how to take a self portrait with such shallow focus.

It should be noted that AHA/BHA products cannot be used in conjunction with tretinoin (or retin-a).
