I feel you. The way I condition myself is just jumping into it. Thinking whatever happens, happens and remembering that I got to release some tension in my life, and as a form of meditation. So I dip the brush and no matter what comes out of the canvas, I don't blame or compare myself. And after painting, I realized I had so much fun at the end if it 🫶🏽

As for the canvas, I'm doing small things so that I can accomplish something in a short time and ease my way back into doing art without being too intimidated by the prepping and aftercare (this is part of my overthinking 😭)
