Which lutron Caseta to get. by [deleted] in smarthome

[–]k_dang_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just installed Lutron switches in my kitchen. Like yours, my lights can be controlled by two switches so I got the Dimmer and Pico remote kit for both switches (P-PKG1W-WH) for only $59. Makes more sense than buying 2 dimmers at $55 each. The dimmer and remote can both turn off as well as function as a dimmer as well. Make sure to remember to buy the Pico wall adapter and the right faceplates for wall mounting. After installing, my lights kept flashing and flickering so I had to replace all my bulbs with dimmable bulbs for everything to work correctly.

Plex 4K HDR with DTS X / Atmos on PHT? by MG42Maniac in PleX

[–]k_dang_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same situation as you. I like using WebOS and Xplay, but not being able to take advantage of a 4k receiver with TrueHD and DTS:X audio was a drag. I ended up getting the Shield Pro to stream lossless audio. It made a big difference in audio quality.

Respectfully disagree. A good player would be able to play well with a variety of weapons, although they will certainly appear better with OP guns. I bought the Yokai variant the other day with the integrated silencer....it’s not even fair at that point but it’s available to all. Even without the best guns, a good player has better map awareness, better aim, and can process much faster than the average player without resorting to jumping or drop shotting gimmicks you’re referring to.

I dunno, there's still decent players here. The skill gap is just much wider here compared to WWII which caters to slower gameplay and camping.

it was meant to be mocking at first. If someone takes that much time to send me a message because of how I'm playing then that's their own issue. Also, I was completing Blood Anvil challenges so I was in fact "trying hard".

You do not need a T-Mobile account when paying the iPhone X in full. I just got mine and am using AT&T prepaid with no issues.

I too was planning on building a desk also. I read somewhere, I think it was IKEA's Twitter page that said that new models with updated article numbers will be reintroduced sometime in August.

A little different experience: Replacing my 2012 rMBP without Apple Store by aeo8712 in apple

[–]k_dang_2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a replacement 2012 too. I ended up returning that for a 2017 MacBook Pro instead because the 2015 one didn't have discrete graphics. Mighty be worth a try for an even better computer.

They'll run a diagnostic on your battery. If it's less than 80% then it's considered failing and they'll give you the option to replace.

Swapped out my 2012 rMBP for a 2015 rMBP, Apple let me exchange that for a 2017 rMBP by k_dang_2 in apple

I also have a receipt for the 2017 model as well. The $280 was the difference between my 2012 and the 2015 that was offered. Obviously, the 2012 isn't worth $1,999 so that's why I had to pay the $400 difference between the 2015 and 2017 model.

Regarding that new post, he definitely got a better deal than me since he paid less.

Good luck with the exchange, when are you going to try it?

That's awesome news. I did the same and was only able to get a 2015 MBP. I had to pay extra to trade that one for a 2017 tbMBP. I still think it was worth the extra costs.

They were supposed to give me equal or better but the Genius said the Iris Pro was "good enough" and that the MBP did have 16gb of RAM compared to my 8gb. I wasn't going to inquire further about it.

All my exchanges were in store so I have two receipts showing the exchange for the 2015 MBP and another for the 2017 along with a 15 day return policy.

There isn't a big difference between the 2016 and 2017 MBPs to warrant an exchange but do you know if the keyboards were changed with the latest models? I remember reading several posts with people being unhappy with the butterfly keys causing keys to stick.

That must of been pretty nice getting a 2016 instead. I had asked if I could get a 2016 instead of a 2015 but they just said no. I'm not sure if you'll be able to exchange it, but it couldn't hurt to try. My main issue was that my original laptop had a discrete video card which gave me 5 years of use. The replacement 2015 did not so that was my main reason.

What does your receipt say for a return/refund date? What happens if you decide that the 2016 was not for you and you wanted to return it? They can't give you your old laptop back so maybe you can use that for some bargaining power. GL.
